@tdesseyn It's what you get if you take N from deno and node and add the letters B and U in front so it rhymes with fun.

Rich I love you like a brother, but I can't keep this secret any longer. Rich is joining Facebook! They recruited him to get the Suspense release back on track. Congrats man!

very surreal to be writing these words, but: it's my last day at the NYT. it has been the honour of a lifetime to work alongside the giants of @nytgraphics and the investigations team, and i will miss my colleagues desperately, but it's time to move from one dream job to another

Okay, I've taken the time to articulate all of my thoughts in a single space about the current pipeline proposal. I've also included as much information as I can about functional piping, and the two most popular pipelines. (It's opinionated, sorry) benlesh.com/posts/tc39-pip…

@petermllrr @ChromeDevTools @bitandbang Red Before/ Green After toggle button after the curly brackets that would swap text inline. And if you double click the red button then you copy the before and if you double click green you get the after. Then also you could have copy all toggle with the icons on top.

@GarethFW @heydonworks Yes. A constant problem is solving outlier problems through intentional or unintentional inaccessiblity where inclusivity is possible.

@DiagramChaser @heydonworks All too often this is something that gets forgotten. In the accessibility space we unwittingly introduce economic privilege creating inequality in our approaches.

Good names for kids of coders: Ruby (classic one) Lua Pascal Ada Spring Crystal (risky one) Dominic (non obvious one) Jason Sed Yamal (kinda non obvious) What other names are great for kids of coders/nerds? /inspired by @editingemily

I need a phrase like "code smell", but less heavy. Something like "this thing I see is often an indicator of a problem". But people don't use "code smell" like that anymore. For example... `forEach` is a sign of a >50% chance of a minor issue, IMO.

@jacobmparis @joelhooks Canon PowerShot G7 X Mark III with Rode Wireless Go is worth looking into. Less bulky than a DSLR solution for some purposes.

I need to get some streaming/recording equipment, but with the caveat that I can't set up a studio at home. Does anyone have a solution that works well for hotels/airbnbs/outdoors?

@triketora They do it because they like you a lot so they become extra nervous about the outcome and extra unsure about themselves around you. You can be the most confident person in world but be intimidated if the stakes are high enough. That's why we are intimidated by big life decisions.
