When the rent is too damn high it’s easy to hate the landlord making money off you. But when you’re a renter…you never have to make a repair, you never have to sock away $100K in cash for a down payment, and if your place burns down, you can just walk away.
Before you bitch about landlords, ask yourself: could you save up $100K right now to make a down payment? What about $10K repair when a pipe bursts? Or your government leaves 50 years of brush to BURN YOUR CITY DOWN? These are all things a property owner has to deal with. Risk, liability, maintenance, taxes, loss of liquidity, ever-increasing insurance costs, and no ability to evict someone who stops paying rent. Landlords earn maybe 5-12% margins off your rent. Consider it a tip for doing all the hard stuff of home ownership for you.

I was responsible for Ben's security for a decade. FRG has provided that security for years. Ben does not have "his own security apparatus." I was sitting at lunch with Jake and Robin when Charlie was shot. They were aware almost immediately, were in touch with the TPUSA team almost immediately, and they were almost immediately conferring with their own team to ensure their clients -- including you -- were safe. You're right that they're honorable men. They're good at their jobs, too. I will say EVERYONE AT DAILY WIRE KNOWS is a fun use of epistemic closure, though. There's no one better at rhetorical manipulation than you.

Patrick, before you’re compelled to correct the record for your audience at Andrew’s insistence, there’s an equally intriguing aspect. Andrew Kolvet has refused to clarify whether the video was selectively edited to intentionally misrepresent Charlie’s words.
Andrew has been repeatedly asked this question and has yet to provide an answer.
In essence, the most pressing question is whether Charlie was presented out of context, regardless of whether it was achieved through AI or selective editing.

🚨BREAKING: As we reported on our show yesterday, approximately 1 Hour following the WHCD shooting, the White House Military Office sent an e-mail directing the amplification of Erika Kirk’s “I want to go home” video clip.
Unfortunately, the e-mail was sent to the wrong internal groups. They then attempted to have I.T revoke the e-mail. When that failed they ordered every person to destroy the e-mail.
I have manually retyped the relevant portion of the e-mail that they wanted destroyed.
(As explained on my show yesterday, this is because the DOD’s IT department has imprinted the e-mail with canary tactics to identify individual leaks)
So the question now is— why did the military so quickly prioritize making Erika Kirk the face of WHCD shooting?
Is that normal emergency protocol or was this unnaturally preplanned?
