@GrayJones I attended SDCC for 25 years, but last year was my final one. I once had TV shows—e.g. Chuck—that I couldn’t wait to see the panels for. But, streaming seems to have changed the dynamics of watching TV and fandom of TV. There’s nothing I am passionate about anymore.

Don’t get me wrong, panels at WonderCon have been actually quite well attended.
But everywhere you look, con attendance is WAY down. It usually feels like sardines on the Saturday show floor, and there’s tons of space today at lunchtime.

Interesting. I have an iPhone17 which got an IOS update last night. I don't know how an IOS update can impact Verizon service, but it's a weird coincidence. #Verizonoutage

@walterkirn The one thing I’d love to be addressed is how this squares with the removal of the Fairness Doctrine years ago. Broadcasters were once required to air both sides, but that rule was removed and shepherded in, among other things, conservative talk radio. Radio stations w/ licenses.
