Can we...just accept that we suck at this?
I want to tell you a story that has made me kinda hopeless about Twitter's ability to affect positive things happening, and it starts with this tweet from Hillary Clinton.

Duke's destroying a globally recognized generational legacy. I know 15 biology faculty and curators who trained at Duke's herbarium, just in my 10 years there. 2023's Climate Commitment "for life"? A budget is a moral document and Duke has shown its cards. science.org/content/articl…

This isn't hypothetical. This is right now. In Wisconsin, a woman who experienced a partial miscarriage was left to bleed for ten days because doctors thought that if they intervened, they might be prosecuted for a felony.

@0_minyaaa I am so sorry for your loss. A few years ago we lost a young cat in a heartbreaking situation. It is so tough. Cherish that Penny was clearly very well loved and you gave her an amazing home. RIP Penny.

Part of my heart died this week when Penny had a sudden heart attack and died on Tu. She made me a cat person. She was beautiful, friendly, loving. She was Nickel’s best friend. She was only 6. The hashtag #PennyandNickel only lasted for 2 years. We miss and love her very much.

.@RepEspaillat The 1835 Treaty of New Echota guaranteed @CherokeeNation the right to send a delegate to the U.S. Congress. It's time to honor that promise. I urge you to seat the Cherokee Nation’s delegate, Kim Teehee, in the U.S. House of Representatives.

It has taken 233 years for the U.S. Congress to be fully represented by this country’s indigenous peoples. Tonight, a Native American, a Native Alaskan & a Native Hawaiian are sitting members of the people’s House. Welcome U.S. Representative Peltola to the 117th Congress! 🤙🏽
