The greatest threat to Bitcoin is other economic assets parasitically attaching themselves to Bitcoin and altering the overall system incentives. It is such a great threat because there is no inherent catch-all defense against it.

Hard to time a speculation bubble, but here’s why I think BTC has peaked: 1. Erased last 5 years of gains. Today’s BTC price is 20% lower than Dec 2017 adjusted for USD inflation. 2. Exhausted the supply of retail suckers. They won’t bother with Matt Damon at Super Bowl 2023.
