In just 7 weeks since launch Kintara has crossed an incredible milestone:
💰 Over $1,000,000 earned by players 🛒 328,615 marketplace sales
This shows what happens when players don't just play a game but actively build its economy. Gathering, crafting, trading, and exploring all contribute to a living world where effort has real value.
The player-driven economy is proving that Web3 gaming can reward participation, not just speculation.
Congrats to the entire @PlayKintara community! 🚀

No one like getting stuck waiting on a network.
The most pleasing Web3 games are the ones giving
the illusion of being really fast, I think.
Let me explain.
If you play a battle against another playar (PvP) where
your initiative is important but due to the delay,
you lose, your move being a little too late, it will feel
totally unfair.
Such situations can be a good reason why you stop
gaming with your friends.
So, this is why fast response games need really quick
network facilitias the most.
A good illustration for this would be the case of the
race game.
Here, every millisecond is very important.
A minute delay can cause the player to lose the race.
Same applies to strategy, battle, and big online game
worlds genres.
The players want immediate updates and a seamless
gameplay experience.
Optimum gives one of the best solutions in such
cases.
Through its efforts, it makes the data transfer across
the network extremely quick.
That means the game updates are delivered at the
players end much faster.
The game feels much more smooth, and This way the
players are able to enjoy the experience a lot more.
Possible future scenario: Players simply will not keep
on playing Web3 games if they think games are slow.
Their desire for the speed similar to the one they
experience in traditional games will become the norm.
Honestly, for me the fun and excitement of playing the
game are most important.
I have the conviction that if we can guarantee fast
network speed,
players would be less bothered about network issues
and focus on the game.
This means low latency network such as Optimum is
building
can definitely be one of the key aspects in shaping the
future of Web3 gaming.

They’re pulling this off by nerfing the model btw

@DigiDripGames Nope, closest comparison would be chivalry for attacks and mount and blade for defense but more analog, allowing you to flow through the defense poses rather than being stuck in one.
And no hard lock on system.

First real look at my sword fighting hobby project - Responsive, accurate, freeform combat using physics that are fun, not frustrating, with intuitive controls that are easy to learn, hard to master.
A lot of physics based sword fighting games have come out lately but IMO none strike that difficult balance between control, animation and physics...trying my best to pull it off here.
This early test is hacked together but it's already showing promise. Feels good to attack and defend and really gives you the feeling that you are fighting with a sword; distance, timing, weapon placement, etc. all matter.
Anyway, very WIP with lots to do...and for once, don't look at the feet! I'll take care of that someday ;)

Did you guess the Sprin? 🔥
It’s Solflare.
Commanders swear that if it roars at sunrise before battle, no shield on their side will splinter that day.

Working on the parkour system for the cyberpunk city.
The facility is focused on intense combat, but the city is about freedom.
Moving across rooftops, exploring hidden paths, and running into surprise fights along the way.
More mobility. More exploration. More chaos.
