@EricEngels He’s also a total jerk. The way he behave during the series was classless. Yes he was the best forward of the series by FAR but his attitude was a shame.

One takeaway from that epic Tampa-Montreal series is Brandon Hagel is much further up the list of best players in the world than he’s given credit for. He’s also one of the best leaders in the sport, and yet doesn’t even wear a letter in a room of very established ones.

@IslesDen He was never as good offensively as his numbers indicated. He is however very solid all around. He’s had Kucherov and previously Stamkos to really drive offensive production.

This was only the first year we got to see a lot of Moore, Rinzel, Greene, Levshunov, Lardis, etc. mixed results, but they need time

@Diesal3426 Yes correct. KD needs to start growing a sack and trading for fucking NHL talent with these draft picks/ prospects we have. Dont expect all these kids to hit or even make the NHL. Trade them and get Bedard a top line with real NHL talent.

Hawks have nazar and frondell who have the ability and skill to be with bedard. Blashill is playing him with Greene, Burakovsky, Tuevo, or Lardis. 2 rookies or 2 washed vets. When is Blashill getting held accountable?

@UhhhmHwut @Matapumo Well you’re looking at it intelligently. ~10 games at center for Frondell will do far more good for him than spending that time with Bedard. People don’t understand that ten games is going to do next to nothing to build up their chemistry. There’s offseason/training camp for that

@Matapumo I look at it this way. He knows that Bedard is flexible enough to make anything work. I think he’s using this to see where the other players fit on other lines. Making sure there’s chemistry before the year ends so next year they can hit the ground running.

@kalenalumpkins That bodes well for Frondell at C…I cannot think of any Center under Blashill’s time in Chicago that he said of any Hawks’ C with the term "winning habits" connected.
