There are women who have gone on the record, used their names, and put their careers on the line to tell their truth about Swalwell—and here he is calling the allegations anonymous. That’s bullshit and revealing as hell.

It's sociopathic that Eric Swalwell hasn't dropped out of the race yet - which I guess fits with the behavior he's been accused of, for which there's ample evidence to support.

As a former prosecutor of sexual assault, I take these allegations very seriously. Survivors courageous enough to come forward deserve to be heard fully, without being smeared in the media by pundits or political hacks. Credible claims require a full investigation. If these allegations are substantiated, Congressman Swalwell should resign, and the consequences must follow the facts.

@sliccardo @RepLiccardo If you've publicly called him out for those things, then I stand corrected.. but I've never seen your posts calling him out to resign specifically for those reasons (by name). Congress has gotten weak with exceptions, which is why I remain independent.

There is no place in our country or the Democratic Party for those who abuse women and girls. I stand with the courageous survivor who shared her story. Congressman Swalwell must leave the Governor’s race immediately.

I have know Eric Swalwell for 21 ½ years. As I’ve stated multiple times: I haven’t heard a whif of anything regarding this type of behavior. However, the persons who is quoted in the SF chronicle is a credible witness and should be believed. That being said, Roger Stone has a hand in this and it needs a full investigation. Anything Roger Stone is involved with is by definition: Ratfucking. Therefore pump the brakes.
