@willitclik@Tablesalt13 Nobody claimed it doubles gains. The question is whether 3-4x at 30-45 min produces significantly better results than 1x/week. It does. Diminishing returns doesn’t mean equal returns.
@Disasterpiece05@Tablesalt13 The point is increasing your time in the gym by 100%(from 1 hour/week to 2 hours a week) doesn't give you a 100% increase in gains.
I started lifting weights 4 years ago.
I decided to REJECT all advice and I decided to go to the gym ONE day a week for ONE hour... because I have busy schedule.
Everyone told me not to bother....
but, my gains were WAY better than expected and similar to people who go for 2-3 times a week for hours.
Sometimes, expert advice is shit -- try new things.
@stockmom .7 x bodyweight in grams good. Don’t worry about the lean body mass metric. Most people have no idea what their lean body mass is so it’s impractical
Question for my gym buddies on X. They keep changing the amount of protein you need to build/maintain muscle. If I'm 5'5 and I weigh 125 lbs, how many grams of protein do I need to consume every day for muscle growth and maintenance?💪🏼
Bitcoin at $126,000? I'm stacking.
It falls to $76,500? I'm stacking.
Falls more to $50,000? I'm stacking.
Short-term price action is irrelevant.
I am stacking for the long term.
@willitclik@Tablesalt13 Not true, I coach CFOs, PAs, MDs, and business owners. Hell one guy I coach right now is a captain out at sea for 2 weeks every month. There is no excuse. Once a week is better than nothing, but to say 3-4 times at 30-45 minutes a clip is too much to excel in other areas is false
@Disasterpiece05@Tablesalt13 Matt your life is the gym so it sounds absurd to you. But if someone want's to excel in other areas while being physically attractive, one intense lift a week and cardio at home is perfect.
