The Israeli news channel N12 is reporting that the Israeli government is offering to relocate American bases in the Middle East to Israel. This is perhaps anticipating the US being forced to leave its bases in the Arab Gulf states, under a de facto American surrender to Iran in exchange for the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz. (Closure of the bases is one of Iran's conditions for a ceasefire.) "Israel is expected to propose to the Americans to examine the establishment of bases in the country - relocating bases from other places in the Middle East and also establishing new compounds, in order to take advantage of the presence of forces already here and against the backdrop of regional changes and ongoing security challenges."

Kaz Okamoto is not just a power hitter, but a very good all-around player—someone who can contribute on both offense and defense depending on the situation. I’ve been impressed with him since the start of camp, and I still am.

Thoughts after covering the game last night. Blue Jays have created an identity of who they are and how they play-pick each other up, next man up mentality. The facilities, ownership & the fans have made the Blue Jays a destination for players and their families. @BlueBirdTerr

@QuantaWave I was there for 16 days albeit on a diesel. Was presented dolphins as an honorary submariner. I am most definitely not a submariner but they opened a small window and I lived with them for a bit. Truly extraordinary people, eh @DivebumChef ?
