@TheBrilliantBu1 I checked out the video:
creator-centric narrative, no promise of pay off on the video, 2 overly loud noises (the kerching sound effect).
Need to look at it not from an effort perspective but what’s in it for the viewer?
I watched 20 sec of it and found those issues
I’m starting to lose motivation when it comes to YT.
For example, I got 23 views with .3 hours. Meaning the total amount of view time on the video didn’t even hit the full length.
I’m not sure if I’m cut out for this content creation stuff. I either do shorts and burn out or long videos that won’t go anywhere.
I’m feeling like a side hustle or just X would be a better use of time especially since I want to make money from what I do. It was a fun try in theory, but I just don’t know if it’s worth it.
I could just use it as a place to put in finance memes and maybe pop off and get paid, but it’s a shame I put a lot of time in and feel like I didn’t make progress.
Tomorrows newsletter is.... Different.
I've given a new topic a try.

@BobShortimer WSB used to actually be good when people were sharing their Lean Hog futures trades etc...
Now it's just morons who think losing money is a badge of honour and that there is a conspiracy by Big DVD to short AMC cinemas
It's so cringe watching young people parrot WSB culture.
What's more cringe is putting €9 euros into a stock. Selling the 9€ position to recreate a 'big loss' like those seen on WSB and then posting it.
My wife asked me this morning what I would do if I woke up one day with $1 million in my checking account.
I told her I'd try to figure out what the hell happened to the rest of it.
Do you believe in commonalities among ethnicities/races?
Some I’ve notice 95% of time:
Irish - tough
Italians - confident
Jews - good with money
Indians - risk adverse
Hispanics & Chinese - hard working
Japanese - peaceful
Europeans - lack of style
@MichaelAlbaum If you don't have some advantage in the market or a way to add value, I don't think its more beneficial than investing in the stock market
A new weekly tracker added to this list - from this point I’ll be tracking my gym progress paired with building a new position within the portfolio.
For every time I go to the gym, £5 will be deposited to purchase shares of $NKE

Why is BBC asking government to provide support for mortgagees?
If you’ve borrowed money from a bank that’s between you and the bank. Not the tax payer’s problem.
@MarkMcGrathCFP That's super interesting, I did it with $QYLD vs SPY vs QQQ and 12% annual withdrawal.
Impressed Nasdaq is still positive, to be honest.
