Controversial take: Your marketing system has a bigger impact on sales efficiency than your sales team Sales talent is obviously a huge lever within the business But if you can’t generate enough calls with the RIGHT prospects, consistently, you’ll never retain A player sales reps anyways Generating sufficient call volume with QUALIFIED prospects & engineering a customer journey where 70-80% of the selling happens pre-call is the game If you can nail this, your ability to attract & retain sales talent will go through the roof which will take care of sales efficiency in itself

It’s hilarious to me when offer owners get overly attached to a specific price point “My offer is worth X!” ”I can’t give this much value away for Y!” My brother, the goal is to maximize REVENUE & PROFIT… not to stick to some arbitrary price point because you "think" that's what your offer is worth You need to be willing to test different pricing structures to find the optimal balance between price and CVR For example: If lowering the price of your front end offer results in more conversions That means more opportunities for ascension More opportunities for ascension, means more backend sales More backend sales, means MORE revenue for the business (in most cases) Your only goal with pricing should be to maximize AOV contribution and customer lifetime value Not to charge a specific price point because someone told you... "that's what it's worth"

How to DOUBLE the effectiveness of warm follow ups: 1) Have the CEO/face of brand record ONE video asset for all perfect-fit leads who don't take action on call 1 2) Make the script general enough to resonate with 90% of your dream prospects but specific enough to still feel hyper personalized 3) Use AI to automate personalization (name, salesperson they spoke with, etc) 4) Have sales reps manually send it to warm follow ups who are on the 1 yard line Feels personal, scales infinitely

Improving lead quality is an iterative process If you add too much friction to the funnel before you have sufficient volume & data... you’ll end up with a bare calendar and nothing to optimize You need to MAXIMIZE throughput first… then you can add strategic friction to filter out the low intent / unqualified leads Without a solid sample size of calls from a particular funnel, you have NO idea: > What types of prospects are actually booking calls > What objections the sales guys are seeing consistently > What your MQL definition should actually be > What kinds of prospects you need to repel in your messaging > Etc. Volume first, filtration second

Most newer entrepreneurs are obsessed with picking the “right” business model And less concerned with mastering the fundamental skills that can be applied to any business Yes, the vehicle you’re in is HUGE long term — But the vehicle is completely irrelevant you have zero skills It's easy to delude yourself into thinking you need a unique business idea to win Or that if you watch enough brain rot business content... you'll find a magical business that prints cash without requiring work Both are pure delusion You're finding ways to procrastinate & justifying it by telling yourself that you need more information You don't Step 1 - pick a business, ideally a service business as it requires no capital Step 2 - start actually DOING sh*t every single day It doesn't matter if you're unsure WHAT you need to do As long as you have a rough idea of what will grow the business and you take massive action for long enough, you'll figure it out (hint: 99% of the time it's copious amounts of outreach to prospective clients and nothing else) Step 3 - make it your sole intention to master the skills that ACTUALLY drive revenue in a business one-to-one sales one-to-many sales (marketing) paid advertising organic marketing offer creation sales management etc. If you become even semi-proficient in any one of these skills You will find it very hard not to make money
