The Rangers got walked off Sunday night, capping a series sweep at the hands of the Angels. Texas managed just 3 hits and struck out 16 times. Outside of a Jake Burger solo homer in the second inning, the Rangers didn't put a runner on base until the ninth. They finally loaded the bases in the final frame, but couldn't push one across. Instead, the game ended on a Justin Foscue bobble and errant throw on what should've been an inning-ending double play, allowing the winning run to score. Texas closes a 9-game road trip against the three worst teams in baseball going 3-6.
