MICROPLASTICS MASTER THREAD There's a lot of buzz around Microplastics. Are they in your balls? Your brain? Are you more plastic than man? I will lay it all out for you in the coming weeks to months. Bookmark this thread and stay updated. Trust me. This will be the most important thread you read this year. As time goes by I will add to this thread and cover everything you need to know about Microplastics. You'll learn how they get into you, what they do once inside you, and how you can help mitigate the damage. Bookmark it. It's worth it.

@DocAnarchy @DrDeepMD The skills to sew on a beating heart, or even on bowel or on a blood vessel in the belly, are still gate kept behind 5-9 years of surgical residency. I don't see that changing any time soon.

Absolutely correct. Once these technologies invade training it's going to be very hard to find a doctor who is trained adequately. But I also wouldn't be so sure you'll get a benefit from babysitting a robot doing surgery. They'll cut reimbursement rates. We've seen it in other fields already. Both at the CMS level and individual practices. What'll inevitably happen is mid levels will gain access to this market or remote doctors and drop rates.

@DocAnarchy @DrDeepMD Lol, I'm a surgeon, and I can't wait for AI robots to do 90% of my job, so I can bill for sitting down and telling the robot what to do. The real problem is that in 20 years, we won't have surgeons who can rescue the robots' mistakes and complications.

@DrDeepMD Over 10 years, definitely a possibility. Probably closer to 20 imo. Hence why anyone smart in medicine is making as much as possible in preparation.

@DocAnarchy Ok that’s all fair. I think 3 years is ridic to overhaul the entire system, even if the tech is there, I agree What about 10 years though? Or 15? Seems like in most of our lifetimes this will slowly become standard of care

There are already machines that can flip burgers, but they haven't replaced fry cooks yet. Same goes for truck drivers. Could name a dozen other careers. These all have less risk and liability than surgery. Why aren't they implemented? These systems make mistakes. It would require a huge change over 3 years to implement fully robotic surgeons. Remote, sure I can see that.

I don’t think this is so unbelievable. Lots of models already showing robotic da Vinci surgery operated by remote surgeon has better outcomes and can operate in many more planes than human. Once the AI studies and perfects top surgeons technique, going to replace at least a subset

If you’re a top student considering ortho or neurosurg, typically the hardest to get into but most lucrative (relatively speaking) And you’re seeing this, and realizing you have another decade of training to go You are seriously reconsidering your life choices right now

Would you trust an Optimus robot with your surgery? Soon, you will. Within 3 years, @elonmusk says it will be better than any human surgeon.

@PeytonElroy Yeah I'm mostly just curious. I don't think we can say for sure yet what percentage is ivm knocking down CEA vs absolutely helping with the cancer. I suspect both are at play but who knows. Cool data to track regardless. Sorry he's going through that.

@DocAnarchy I will try to see if there’s older data somewhere. We have done little experiments to try and see what is working and in what ways. Thanks for reading and adding to the convo 🤝💚

I think you will find this interesting…. My Dad is healing colon cancer through a series of protocols that include Ivermectin → He was taking it daily for several months (since November 2025) → Doctors asked him to stop Ivermectin while he was actively doing chemo treatments in February, so he took a couple weeks off, even though he had already been using the Ivermectin & undergoing chemo at the same time → Through a series of blood tests he had tumor markers go down significantly (33% after one month, 50% after 2 months) while on the Ivermectin When he stopped taking it for a few weeks and had to get blood tested again for the same tumor markers…. Guess what? Tumor markers went back up a little bit (see February 27 below) Mind you, the Ivermectin intake was the only part of his healing protocol that changed for that few weeks Then he got back on the Ivermectin and already started seeing the numbers dip down a little bit Coincidence? You tell me….

How is there not a liaison for banned accounts? I had to bitch publicly to get any movement on my "appeal." This is stupid. Should have been handled with one text message. I was suspended totally, couldn't even DM. Not a good system at all.

Exactly. My best sleeper fell asleep around 8:00 and woke up at 5:30 every day. In order to get 8 hours I would need to fall asleep as soon as she did, then wake up when she did. But that means I can't get up early and exercise. Which means I need to do it when I should be spending time with my kids. And so on.

@DocAnarchy @Brady_H "be sure to get adequate sleep, 8+ hours per night!" yeah how about 5 and spike your cortisol at 4:30 every morning with a screaming toddler

@DocAnarchy @Brady_H The entire problem with this statement boils down to the last half of the last sentence, "...pulls away what should be your primary focus." Why should having kids be a primary focus outside of the evolutionary drive to do so? This is such nonsense.
