Great reflections @Fredwilson & @Jason on my @TechCrunch article. tcrn.ch/2j6vvJ5. Also worth noting, ICO's don't explain drop in VC rounds. ICO's only 2017 phenomenon; far fewer # than $. Meanwhile 9,000 fewer funding rounds now than 2014.
@dmeyer08@TechCrunch ICO/crypto has had some effect, but 19,000 rounds have dropped to 10,000, there are far too few ICO's to have a huge impact on the volumes here. Its fascinating, but not so material to this analysis
@eileentso@kadhimshubber and what valuation 😉, I'm aiming this at 2017 investors, 2017 valuations. Fair pt re customer delight, my riposte: now many 'disruptors' can deliver similarly great customer delight. Cust. experience will soon become a commodity. Valuations don't price that.
