@DoctorLFC Same is the story of Milan subway in Santacruz.

There's a lane named Sleater Road in South Mumbai. 20 -25 years ago, an hour of heavy rain was enough for that entire lane (half a km) to get waterlogged. The lane would get waterlogged at least a dozen times every monsoon in the 90s and early 2000s. Over the past few years, they have changed and mended the storm water drain systems and placed a dewatering pump at the end of the lane. Except for the Covid 2020 year, there have been hardly been any incidents of waterlogging at Sleater Road over the past 5-6 years. Even today, there hasn't been any waterlogging there (yet). If the BMC can fix Sleater Road, they have the means to fix most waterlogging issues in the city if they wish to. #MumbaiRains

I propose a kabutarkhana (a dedicated pigeon feeding area) to be built in every single housing society built by the Lodha group in Mumbai. Let us see if Mr Mangal Prabhat Lodha has the will to do something in his own building projects that he is advocating for the entire city.

Most of the Indians will live a poor life literally and figuratively and die the same way waiting for the miracle to happen to lift them from the miserable state they are in. You are on your own. No government is coming to help you. Accept or reject this but this is very close to reality.
