The biggest part I don’t understand is how this is getting rammed through so quickly. It took years for Legacy Pkwy to start because of environmental issues. Nothing needed here? Also, it’s so lucrative and will bring in so much money but still needs huge tax breaks?

@DogMomToIsabell @jmontforttx Think about the interstate highway system. After the initial buildout, there came jobs in transportation, and retail. First comes the infrastructure - then the commerce.

I’ve gone to the same gym for almost 4 years now. Good friends with nearly everyone there. One day a guy who used to make small talk with me, just stopped. Didn’t think much of it, but it went on for weeks. Found out later he’s a liberal and someone showed him my X account and he just won’t talk to me now. This has happened many many many times since becoming publicly conservative. I’ve lost many friends and even many more acquaintances. They won’t even discuss us. Won’t even look at me. It’s bad for me… but it’s 10,000x worse for my wife. Liberal women are genuinely EVIL to conservative women. It’s on another level. Pure evil. No one talks about this enough but the public shaming of people who are openly conservative is extremely intense and unless you have a lot of mental fortitude and surround yourself with better people quickly… I can understand why many find it is not worth saying anything at all. But that doesn’t make it harder for those of us who speak up… because we are the few.

@AMandoSch I was at a protest at an ICE office bldg where ICE agents were leaving work. They all looked like angry 30 ish white MAGA dudes, the same shades, ball caps, tactical vests (essential going-home fashion) and drove giant pickup trucks (personal vehicle)

@NectarElectro @KUTV2News This is a state led private project. No federal authority applies. SCOTUS neutered wetlands permitting. And the reason they used MIDA is to bypass any kind of state or local zoning / land use rules. So yeah, they can probably kill eagles and drain the bird refuge

@KUTV2News Does anyone know if the Box Elder O'Leary data center has been reviewed by the proper federal authorities that oversee eagle conservation and the various migratory bird acts? This data center will put them ALL at risk.
