You guys choking on smog from Canada - say hello to James Blaine. As Secretary of State under President Benjamin Harrison, he advocated aggressive tariffs to force Canada to join the US. This followed 2 American invasions of Canada - which also failed to effect the Union. Canada probably needs the Iran treatment to bring them around to taking proper care of their forests and ending the ethnic cleansing of their core population. Once the conquest is complete - it will probably also be necessary to force most Canadian men to work in the Arctic at hard labor on 500 calories a day, where they can expire at their own speed. Their women will be taken care of by Gen Z American men who can’t afford houses in America - and they will also be given vast tracts of land în Canada - which they can lease to tech companies to build ‘data centers.’ The American men can then have 20 children each with these Canadian women, living a life of leisure, and solve the demographic crisis. You gotta think outside the box.

Let's agree men not making the money has neutered many men. What role in society can they fulfill to be uniquely men again? What role in a family replaces the breadwinner who lets his woman stay at home? I'll start with a female friend: she's the breadwinner. But she's classically female, neurotic AF 😂 He calms her down. The voice of reason. She wouldn't trade the type B guy who shrugs & figures anything out for anything. I also acknowledge that the loss of the ability for a family to afford a SAHP has FUCKED us as a society. But if a woman likes her job... what can a man uniquely do? Let's get creative.

@eva_kurilova It's very strange to watch someone pantomime what they think being male is. I find myself referring to her as her, not even on purpose. With other trans my brain uses the preferred gender. Elliot will forever look like a 14 year old boy which is just uncanny.

I’m on my way to surgery this morning. It’s a breakthrough new one for trans women to undo one of the worst things testosterone does to us. I’m one of the first to get it. It’s going to be beyond brutal to recover from. Something I hear a lot is “Just let trans girls wait until they’re 18!” That’s easy to say if you’ve never done these surgeries. Hard tissue work, meaning bones, is extremely painful - and it’s not one pass and done. It took four passes on my jaw to undo the masculinization. Something that surprised me was doing a dna test and meeting women in my family. I look just like them, and I look just like my mom. FFS didn’t do anything except undo what being forced to go through male puberty did to me. I feel fortunate to live in a time where I can get these surgeries. We are literally living in an age of medical miracles. But it would have spared so much pain, physically and emotionally, if I’d just gotten help as a child. I knew who I was from my earliest memories, and it’s never shifted a single second of my life.

My biggest beef with people by the time I left my big blue American city was not being able to talk about how bad things had gotten without people editing you or simply not believing you. "I don't like open drug use on public transit." "How is someone doing drugs harming you? Just ignore them." "A homeless guy scared me in a park today." "How did you KNOW he was homeless?" "I don't feel safe here anymore." "The news makes it seem worse than it is!" My breaking point was when a loved one was randomly killed downtown & a left-leaning friend... didn't believe me because the news didn't report it at first. "I'm sorry but I just don't think a white guy would get murdered in broad daylight without the news sounding the alarm. Are you sure that's what actually happened?" To a certain kind of left-leaning mind, it's more offensive to state a problem out loud than for the problem to exist. Any solution to a problem that isn't endless empathy for a person regardless of their behavior is you being a big ol' meanie. How dare you be scared of that guy who's punching the air & talking to himself! Public transit became a sea of people pretending awful behavior didn't exist. You can't solve problems if solutions make you uncomfortable. You especially can't solve them if it's rude to talk about them. So I left. Now I don't fear for my life. According to some blue peeps, nothing has changed for me. There was never a real problem to begin with!

my baby is starting to transform into a toddler and I have zero sadness about this. he hates being a baby, and he has ensured that I too hate him being a baby. I'd honestly press a button and just flash forward 4 months at this point. I get it: baby cute, goo goo ga ga, clap clap clap. we've been doing that game for months. I'm ready for abstract concepts and language. I wanna go to the zoo and stomp puddles in the rain. I'd do great as a horse, I wanna birth a baby who comes out running.

I cannot dissuade people from using @squarespace strongly enough. Their payment system is a mess, everything gets shut off and they send you through endless AI chat bots for "help" that doesn't work. They lock you out of accessing all your documents and take 8+ hours to respond. Nightmare. Over 24 hours and still no solutions from @SquarespaceHelp

People who say they're "bad at tests" tend to just not be very smart. When they blame their low performance on anxiety instead of low intelligence, that's generally just an example of them making a poor excuse.

@Aella_Girl @CollisAventinus If it is trauma you are trying to heal, mdma is the tool. It allows you to examine painful memories from a high openness and high compression perspective instead of fear. Mdma turns off primordial fear. Next day is tough though.

My personal fav is LSD; in my data, shrooms and LSD get very similar ratings for stuff like 'doing them was a good idea' and rate of side effects etc. Ayahuascha has higher satisfaction ratings but also higher side effects. MDMA is overall the best drug, but it's not exactly a psychedelic

Psychedelics are intense and high variance. With a basic amount of caution you can mostly eliminate the negative risk, and you're very likely to get huge upsides. I personally permanently cured some deeply rooted trauma that prob woulda fucked up my life for years otherwise.

But, if you look over the social media commentary about me, you’ll see that pattern: “he deserved it.” I deserved it because I challenged death. The crowd was running a deeply rooted psychological script that represents the oldest, most deeply embedded stories of human culture. This was the first story ever written down, 4,000 years ago. Gilgamesh sought eternal life after losing someone he loved, only to have the plant of youth stolen by a serpent as he bathed. Leaving him to accept his mortality. Asclepius became so skilled at rejuvenation that he raised the dead. As punishment, Zeus struck him down with a thunderbolt to enforce life and death authority. This is the story of Jesus. Pontius Pilate offered a choice between a thief and the immortalist, and the crowd demanded the execution. People need this story conclusion to keep themselves sane. The challenger must lose and the loss must appear deserved. It’s a shield of self preservation. For if death is inevitable, their existence and that of their loved ones is justified and unavoidable. If death is not inevitable, nothing about their reality is safe. I occupy the same philosophical and archetypal position as Gilgamesh, Asclepius and Jesus. This statement will draw outrage and accusations of blasphemy, hubris and narcissism. Nevertheless, it’s the pattern that has repeated itself for thousands of years. Death has been the omnipresent concern of the human race. It encapsulates our greatest fears, joy and curiosities. The discourse around it changes over time; however, the fundamentals remain unchanged. What’s different about this moment, that is unlike any other moment, is that physical death may no longer be inevitable. What if I didn’t deserve it? And what if I am your ally, and not a threat?

@Dogfacedman1 @bryan_johnson @nntaleb From what I understand, it's not a personality disorder, it's a deliberate choice and a virtue in his philosophy. He sees disagreeableness as a strength, not a flaw. But that only works face to face, otherwise, criticism becomes detached from reality.
