🚨🇺🇦 The FA ban Chelsea winger Mykhaylo Mudryk for four years for an anti-doping offence.
Mudryk has appealed to CAS against this decision with process ongoing, as @JacobsBen reports.
4 years would be the maximum punishment possible, if confirmed.

The reason Chelsea are struggling is because they’re changing the approach that made them successful in the last two decades.
Chelsea are serial winners. They don’t build. They’re not Arsenal or Spurs. It’s either you win or get sacked as a manager.
Chelsea has sacked managers who have won the league and champions league for them. Once you stop winning, you get your sack letter. This part of their culture still exists in some way, Rosenior sacked after 4 months, Maresca sacked after winning the CWC and Conference League.
The part of their culture slipping away is with respect to the players they sign. They’re investing heavily on young players who don’t seem ready. Young players are meant to be integrated gradually, alongside the big players to mentor them. The squad does not even have leaders which is something Chelsea isn’t known for.
The owners also want to build, having wage caps. Those wage caps won’t attract big players, it’s those youngins who are just breaking out that’ll sign such contracts of 9 years with 80k per week. You’ll end up with Delap no disrespect.
You can see Osimhen couldn’t even take a wage cut, the wage being offered seemed like a disrespect to established players, most of the big players wouldn’t. Read about same situation in Spurs. This is a major problem.
My proposed solution:
Go back to who you were before. Simple.
Employ football heads. Ruud Gullit said in a podcast recently that he doesn’t think the people running the club know football. They’re businessmen.

Chelsea’s sporting leadership are now discussing what to do next. They are taking stock of the situation after last night’s shocking performance at Brighton. Although the club have backed Liam Rosenior up to this point, football is ultimately a results business. It’s too early to say whether Rosenior will definitely be in charge for the Leeds game on Sunday. As things stand, he remains in charge, but the situation could change. Chelsea players have the day off today.
