In the next 5 years, Chinese cars will dominate Nigerian roads. Just look at the value a brand new, beautiful car going for ₦20M, the same price as a 2009/2010 Toyota or Lexus. If they want to accelerate adoption, all they need is to make servicing and spare parts easily accessible. Once that’s solved, it’s game over.

1. My son, currently in 400 Level Medicine and Surgery scored 333 in JAMB but his name did not even APPEAR on the Admission List. I was later told by the Institution that, my son could be offered Micro Biology. I told the Registrar of the institution POINT BLANK that, "I have spent HUGELY (Several Millions of Naira) to get my Son to this Point of Entry (PoE) to become a Medical Doctor and not to become a Biology Teacher through her offer of Micro Biology. This Registrar was so MEAN. She simply told me, we are very sorry, Micro Biology is the BEST we can OFFER your son. 2. At this Juncture, I proceeded to JAMB Headquarters, Abuja to meet with Prof. Oloyede who swiftly asked for my son's JAMB details, punched these details into his laptop and everything concerning the university came up on his screen. 3. Prof. Oloyede said and I quote: "Dr. Muyiwa Kayode, please go back home and sleep with your two eyes closed. From what I am seeing on my screen, your son is No.3 on the List of Medicine and Surgery of this institution with a JAMB SCORE of 333 which comes behind two other JAMB scores of 348 & 334 respectively. Unfortunately, none of these chaps, including your Son (i.e JAMB Score 348, 334 and 333) made the Admission List" 4. Prof. Oloyede continued and I quote: "Dr. Muyiwa Kayode, in SANE countries, this Institution should have sent the College Driver with an official vehicle to go and fetch your son from Ekiti to campus having projected himself into the MERIT LIST of this Institution but unfortunately, the endemic corruption in these institutions will just not allow them to follow Due Process" 5. Right in my presence, Prof. Oloyede put a call through to the Vice Chancellor of this Institution, setting his phone on speaker and spoke angrily at the Vice Chancellor, lamenting on the endemic corruption under his nose as it concerns university admission. This Vice Chancellor apologized to Prof. Oloyede saying what has just happened must have been an ERROR of OVERSIGHT on the part of his Management Team & promised Prof. Oloyede that he will personally ensure the Error of Oversight is corrected. 6. Within 24 hrs of that conversation between Prof. Oloyede and the Vice Chancellor, my son checked the university's Admission Portal and discovered his name has been INCLUDED as Number Three on the admission list while the names of the other chaps that scored 348 & 334 also appeared on the admission list as Number One and Number Two respectively. 7. The good news in all of these is that, my son that would have been CRIMINALLY denied admission ab-initio now TOPS his class with a G.P.A of 4.85 This is neither Federal nor State government doing... Every sector of the economy in Nigeria is corrupt. Photo: Prof Ishaq Oloyede, Registrar, Joint Admission and Matriculation Board ( JAMB )

A family of five who sold all their belongings and borrowed ₦20 million to relocate to the UK have reportedly been deported. The family included a husband, wife, two children, and the wife’s late sister’s daughter. After spending about two years in the UK, the wife allegedly decided to act on past grievances against her husband. Since she was the main visa holder with a work permit and the rest were dependents, she reported to authorities that she wanted to remove her husband from her visa, effectively ending their marriage. The husband was then notified to leave the country within a short period. Faced with debt and uncertainty, he sought legal help and revealed that one of the children was not biologically theirs and had not been legally adopted or declared during their relocation process. Authorities followed up, and DNA tests confirmed the child was not related to either of them. This violation led to legal consequences, and despite attempts to reverse the situation, the case had already escalated. In the end, the entire family was deported back to Nigeria.

We are back from Zone 2, Onikan, Lagos, after honouring police invitation based on a petition by the author and publisher of the controversial textbook, Mr. Ayengbe Ebhohimen JB. On Tuesday, 28th April, 2026, I wrote to the AIG in charge of Zone 2 informing him that I’ll be coming with my client today by 1:00 PM. We arrived Zone 2 Command before the stated time and met with officers assigned to investigate the petition written by the author wherein he is alleging “conspiracy”, “criminal defamation”, “offensive publication” and “cyberstalking”. These allegations are utterly baseless and irritating to us. After giving her statement to the police, we met with the AIG in charge of the Zone, AIG Moshood Jimoh. My client, in her written statement and during our meeting with the AIG, reiterated her objection to the obnoxious passage on page 75 of the book which encourages violence and animal cruelty, she also plainly repudiated the concocted allegations against her. At the meeting, we submitted a copy of the book and the preliminary statement made by the Lagos State Government declaring that the said book was not approved by the government for use in schools. After spending more than three hours at Zone 2 Police Command, I departed the Zone with colleagues in chambers and my client, Mrs. Maryqueen Udoka. My client has reunited with her family. However, the complainant failed to show up. We have been asked to return to the Command on Friday, 7th May, 2026 when the author/complainant is expected to be present. Thank you.

CONTROVERSIAL NURSERY SCHOOL BOOK: WE WILL REPORT AT ZONE 2 POLICE COMMAND TODAY Following the invitation and harassment of our Client, Mrs. Udoka, Mary Queen, by the Zone 2 Police Command, Onikan, Lagos, it pertinent to disclose that we will be going to the police command today, Thursday, 30th April, 2026. We will be reporting with our Client as law abiding citizens and out of respect for the institution of the @PoliceNG, not because we believe that Mary Queen committed any crime or that there’s a basis for the involvement of the police in this matter. However, we want to be clear that Ayengbe Ebhohimen JB, the author of the textbook, who has instigated the police against our client, will have to justify his actions. We are hoping that the officers at Zone 2 Police Command will be able to explain to us what their business is with this matter. It is also hoped that they will respect the fundamental rights of our Client and keep the interaction professional. Thank you.

She was sacked. She is from rivers state, OGONI . Her offence ? Attending Peter Obi rally in port harcourt on her off day and posting it online. She was not on duty. It was her off duty. Her boss saw it online. The next day when she came to work. He asked her, why she went for Peter Obi rally. She said it was her off duty. He immediately sacked her and told her to go and meet Peter Obi to give her a job . She came social media and cried out and cried out. I told one of staff to reach out to her and invite her. I collected the information of the hotel and sent my CSO to investigate. He came back and told me it was true and her boss said Peter Obi should give her a job. I hate it so much when the rich intimidate the poor. And GOD is not happy when people maltreat the poor. So the only I can fight back is to use SPIRITUAL POWER OF GOD and use tithes that come into the church to raise every poor I encounter like 42 free schools , 2 free hospitals, overseas job placement, local and international scholarship for the poor. So I immediately took up her case. First asked her how much was her salary in the hotel they sacked her. She said 18,000. I mean eighteen thousand Naira only. PURE WICKEDNESS FROM A WICKED RICH MAN. What can 18k buy ? I immediately employed her in OPM printing press. I told her , you are a young girl, why are you not going to school ? She said her parents don’t have money to send her to university and eighteen thousand Naira salary can not do anything about school unless prostitution which she vowed to GOD never to do. So I immediately i immediately placed her on opm university Schlarship ( local university) She wrote jamb and passed and gained admission to study ACCOUNTING in Ignatius Ajuru University. I instructed my chief of staff to be allowing to go school and work anytime she has no lectures. And today she is on her FINAL YEAR studying accounting.

Whenever you have musculoskeletal pain, consider seeing an experienced physiotherapist. You don’t have to swallow drugs all the time. I had a pain in my left leg but didn’t remember having an injury. After blood tests for glucose and kidney function, as well as x-rays and scans, the hospital couldn’t find anything wrong. Seven days of physio - ultrasound, infrared heat and gentle massage cured it. If you want an excellent physiotherapist in Abuja, I would recommend Mr Moses Ajani on +234 813 842 5025. I have used him for more than 10 years and he has treated me for everything from back pain to whiplash injury following two car accidents. He has also successfully treated a friend of mine who had a stroke and the effects of the stroke are now mostly unnoticeable. His clinic in Kado, Abuja, is not posh but he is one of the best in Nigeria. I have referred many “big” people in society to him and they have been full of praise.

🚨🇸🇳🇱🇷 George Weah backs Senegal following CAF’s decision: 🗣️ “I call on CAS and the other relevant authorities to act firmly so that THIS INJUSTICE IS NOT UPHELD.” 😤 In football, the Laws of the Game are clear: the referee on the pitch is the final authority for decisions made during the match. Once play is allowed to continue and the match is completed, the result achieved on the field must stand. According to the applicable rules of the Confederation of African Football (CAF), match officials have full authority during the game. CAF regulations align with FIFA’s Laws of the Game (Law 5), which state: “The referee has full authority to enforce the Laws of the Game in connection with the match to which he has been appointed, and his decisions on facts related to play are final.” In the case of the AFCON final between Senegal and Morocco, the referee allowed the match to continue after Senegal’s withdrawal, and the game was played to its conclusion, including extra time, with a result decided on the pitch. Furthermore, after the match, the referee’s report mentioned an interruption during the game, not a forfeit, and recommended appropriate sanctions for the infractions committed during the match. For this reason, the CAF committee’s later decision, taken after the match had ended, should not override the authority exercised by the referee during the game in accordance with the Laws of the Game. I would also like to take this opportunity to clarify that the posts widely circulating on social media claiming that I support the CAF disciplinary committee’s decision against Senegal are completely false. Anyone using my image and associating it with such misleading statements is urged to refrain."

Here are my thoughts on the decision by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) to take the tournament trophy from Senegal and award it to Morocco. Good People, there is no ambiguity here: CAF is wrong, completely and unequivocally. I may not have been a great footballer, but back at Secondary Technical School, Ovim, I was the fan-in-chief among my classmates. Nicknamed “Sausa,” I analyzed games and offered commentary, even though I never made the team. One lesson our coach, Mr. Udeagu Snr, always emphasized was this: the referee holds the ultimate authority and must be respected if you do not want to lose the match. In this case, the match was restarted and eventually completed, despite the earlier disruption. Yes, the Senegalese team may have left the pitch at some point, but they returned and finished the game. That is what matters. The referee is, in effect, the supreme authority on the field, the final arbiter. Once the match was concluded under his authority, that result should stand. CAF’s appeal committee should recognize this and refrain from overturning what was decided on the pitch. All the rules should consider that the match was completed on the pitch. Simply put, this trophy belongs to Senegal because the game was played to completion. We must avoid technicalities in our beautiful game. I am Sausa, ex-football strategist, Secondary Technical School Ovim Abia State

Raymond Hack, former president of the CAF Disciplinary Board, has claimed that the Morocco national team staged a walkout in the final of the 1976 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), which the country eventually won.  Hack, who served in numerous roles across CAF’s legal body, made the claim in a chatwith Robert Marawa on Wednesday.

Nigerians please we need justice for Elozino Joshualia Ogege. My secondary school friend. She wasn’t just a classmate, she was my friend we sat together in school. She was a decent girl. Elo was not wayward. They killed her Nigerians. They plucked her eyes while she was alive, breast and heart before she died. She was a brilliant student, a first-class student from 100 level to 300 level at Delta State University Delsu. She only went to look for a house to rent Nigerians😭 She told a security man working in DELSU, Onoriode (Onos), who had access to the school environment that she was looking for a house, he then told her he would help her get accommodation. That was how he lured her. Delsu claimed they are contract staff from a security company. Guess what? This security man is an Ex-convict. He did not act alone. He worked with other Yahoo boys including Desmond and their gang and with the help of a security supervisor identified as Nwosisi Benedict Uche. The mastermind was a Yahoo boy who came from Ghana, and got those Yahoo boys to look for a girl for ritual for him. He had 2 houses already in Abraka. Elo was not their first victim. They planned it. They waited for her inside the school environment, campus 3, overpowered her by putting something on her face and took her away. They drove her out of Abraka into a bush. According to their own confession, Elozino was crying and begging them to let her go even after they took her eyes alive she was still begging them. 😭 But they did not stop. They killed her and removed parts of her body for ritual purposes to use for what they call “Yahoo Plus” money rituals. They took those parts to a native doctor identified as Ojokojo Robinson Obajero, who they believed would perform money rituals for them. The police tracked her phone and arrested them after the family reported she was missing because they couldn't reach her. The Delta State Police PRO, DSP Andrew Aniamaka, confirmed that the suspects confessed and that the crime started as a missing person case before turning into a murder investigation. Even the Commissioner of Police at the time, Muhammad Mustafa, confirmed arrests and said they were ritual killers. One of the masterminds even died while trying to escape arrest. But since 2018… what has happened? Elon have had no justice since 2018. The case has been in court. Adjournment after adjournment. Delay after delay. Years have passed. No clear justice. Are they bringing the judge? My friend left her house to look for accommodation and never came back. She trusted the wrong person a security man inside her own school. Delsu refused to show concern for their negligence. How can you employ an Ex-convict? Why would a security company employ an Ex-convict? Elo is gone we know but we want justice. And till today, it feels like justice is still being delayed. Nigerians, how long will this continue? How long will young girls keep dying like this? How long will cases like this be forgotten? Please speak up. Please don’t let this case die. Please people I'm begging y'all to help us speak. They already confessed to doing it. They should have been sentenced to death already. All the people involved. Help us cry for justice @Hybrid_Ola @_meera__abdul @AdageorgeA @oku_yungx @Austeiin @lilyally98 @instablog9ja This is the news on BBC. It's everywhere on the Internet too google.com/amp/s/www.bbc.… #JusticeForElozino #EndRitualKillings

It was just a letter Izzy Ogbeide sent to NAPTIP and they ignored it. I say 'just' a letter because I'll never forget how -- after investigating and buying a newborn baby from an orphanage home selling babies in 2023 -- I practically hunted the hierarchy of NAPTIP down, flew with my money from Lagos to Abuja, lodged for a night, attended a meeting with officers selected by the then NAPTIP DG, then briefed them on the MO of the culprits but said I'd only specifically name them a few days before publishing the story, so their arrest can be synchronised with the release of the story. We listed a number of steps NAPTIP would take in preparation for the release of the story and arrest of the culprits. But once I left, that was the end. Nobody at NAPTIP lifted a finger. The reason? One of their officers told me: "You want to make us spectators in a project where we should be the actors." An investigation went on for 19 months without you but you want to be the "actors" few days to the climax? NAPTIP only reached out after FIJ Nigeria released the investigation and it had gone viral. Until Nigerian agencies start doing the actual work without caring for virality, we'll keep orbiting in circles. It just was a letter Izzy Ogbeide sent to NAPTIP and they ignored it.
