Can anyone with an MBA help me understand the “theory” behind laying off the 25th most tenured employee in a company of over a million people? But like 16k of us, she woke up locked out, laid off and jobless on Wednesday morning. I am white with 2 black children with me for the time being and I live in a predominantly white area (when I say predominant I mean it’s all white) … we have only experienced weirdness one time from an older man who commented on “your African American children” …he was old and I don’t think he was trying to be weird but it was weird and unnecessary.. but I didn’t make a thing out of it in front of them of them , why would I? … anyhow, my point is that the idea is white people are all racist , we hear this all the time but I’m experiencing the opposite! These girls get comments about how pretty they are , people say nice things and sure some stare but idk why , maybe they think they are pretty too because they are! Why should I assume? I refuse to live our lives looking for negativity, and imprinting that on them while they are with me. They don’t focus on it as children , why do adults ? We’re Just living our best lives! I feel like people sometimes LOOK for racism and that’s damaging to kids…they haven’t brought up skin color with me much aside from a few cute innocent comments about my hair being not as good as theirs because I have less of it than they do 😂 “where is the rest of your hair?” We don’t focus on it. @hebrews1031 @DivinelyDesined There was obviously another source of the light that was created on day 1. Time exists regardless of the presence of the sun. A day is a period of light and darkness. Days can exist without the sun. A better question is what was the source of light on day 1?

@DivinelyDesined I think the text itself suggests a non historical nature. Days are talked of but the sun isn’t made until day 4. How could you have days without the sun? Augustine recognized this, which is why he favored a metaphorical or spiritual interpretation.

I have a question for the Old Earth & Evolutionist Christians. If you accept the Scientifically Indefensible claim of the Resurrection of Jesus Christ, why don't you accept the Creation story as it's clearly stated in Genesis? Isn't this an inconsistent view of Scripture?
