This is absolutely disgraceful. A mother in Sechelt speaks up against a forced political ritual in her daughter’s school, gives fair warning, keeps it short, and sits down quietly and the principal responds by calling child protection services on her family? Then bans her from school grounds? Then lets the drama teacher out her daughter to the class, sparking bullying that forced the kids out of school? This is authoritarian bullying dressed up as “reconciliation.” The Ministry of Children and Family Development showed up, interviewed the kids, and immediately closed the file because there was nothing wrong. The only “threat” here was a parent who refused to bow to ideological nonsense. This is what the NDP’s capture of our schools has produced: principals acting like thought police, child services being weaponized against dissenting families, and kids caught in the crossfire. Land acknowledgements have become a compulsory loyalty test that does zero for Indigenous people but everything to divide us and punish anyone who questions it. Enough is enough. Our schools are for teaching, not indoctrination. Parents have the right to push back without the state coming after their children. I hear so many people blaming the outrageous gas prices on Donald Trump, but here’s a fact for y’all to ponder. Oil just topped $100 per barrel. As of five minutes ago gas is selling for $1.90/litre in my neighborhood. The last time oil hit $100 per barrel was under Stephen Harper, yet gas prices topped out at $1.38 per litre back then. Yes, the Iran war is affecting gas prices, but there’s about 52¢/litre that is the direct result of taxes, environmental taxes, and taxes on those taxes.

My Stand Against Malicious Prosecution and Negligent Investigation: Over 4 years have passed since the peaceful Freedom Convoy which saw many truckers and supporters, including Chris Barber and myself, arrested on the streets of Ottawa. What followed was the longest mischief trial in the history of the Commonwealth. Both of us were convicted of mischief for our part in the most peaceful and polite protest of all time, and sentenced to 18 months of house arrest. Even more outrageous? A single group photo at a JCCF awards dinner in Toronto while surrounded by lawyers, fully allowed under my bail conditions, triggered a Canada-wide arrest warrant for an alleged breach of conditions, which did not occur. There was no investigation. No call to my lawyer. It was issued like I was a violent criminal. Homicide detectives flew me back to Ottawa in leg shackles, I lost my job, precious time with my family, was denied bail, and spent 30 days in remand. All for a non-violent mischief case. I'm pleased to announce that I have filed a lawsuit against the Ottawa Police, the Crown prosecutor, and others for malicious prosecution & negligent investigation because this isn’t just about me; it’s about stopping this kind of abuse so no Canadian ever faces it again.
