Allow me to translate socialist to English. When Mamdani says, "NYC faces a budget crisis," he means, "we ran out of other people's money." When he says, "we need new revenue," he means, "we're going to tax people more." But wait, he already "taxed the rich" straight out of the city. So, who does that leave him to tax now? The next richest class. Then the one below that. And the one below that. It happens the same way every time. Isn't socialism neat?

Another farmer in South Africa has died after a brutal attack in Limpopo province. The farmer and his wife were attacked on Saturday afternoon. His wife is fighting for her life in hospital. Every week these brutal attacks on farmers take place in our country and the government and left-wing activists remain silent about it. maroelamedia.co.za/nuus/sa-nuus/b…

LIFT Daily Prayer: Great Love, Unshakable Faithfulness | November 30, 2025 Today’s Verse: Psalm 117:2 (NKJV) “For great is His love toward us, And the faithfulness of the Lord endures forever. Praise the Lord.”  God’s love is not small or fragile; it is “great” toward us, and His faithfulness does not rise and fall with our feelings, circumstances, or performance. The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob has opened the door for both Jew and Gentile to worship Him together, and from time zones and nations all over the world, His people gather on the Lord’s Day to praise Him for salvation, provision, protection, and grace. So today, choose to praise the Lord in whatever condition you find yourself. Thank Him for His great love, even if your heart feels heavy, your body feels weak, or your future feels uncertain. Ask Him to shine His light into confused minds, fearful hearts, and weary lives, to show some great thing of His mercy as we worship, and to fix your eyes on the God whose love is set toward you and whose faithfulness will never end.

LIFT Daily Prayer: The One God Looks For | November 29, 2025 Today’s Verses: Isaiah 66:1–2 (NKJV) “Thus says the Lord: ‘Heaven is My throne, And earth is My footstool. Where is the house that you will build Me? And where is the place of My rest? For all those things My hand has made, And all those things exist,’ Says the Lord. ‘But on this one will I look: On him who is poor and of a contrite spirit, And who trembles at My word.’”  The God who made heaven His throne and earth His footstool is not impressed by what we can build for Him. There is no structure, ministry, project, or performance we can offer that adds anything to His perfection. What He is looking for is not our accomplishments. He delights in men, women, and young people who come into the light of His presence and let that light expose, cleanse, and change them. So today, ask the Lord to make your heart the kind of place He gladly looks upon. Pray for a deeper humility, a tender conscience toward sin, and a fresh reverence for His Word every time you open it. Slow down, open your Bible, and let its truth confront, comfort, and correct you in this age of apathy and deception.

God is holy, which means not only that He is sinless and perfect, but also that He is distinct and set apart from all other beings. His holiness dictates our relationship with Him. He will not bend His rules or change His character to get closer to us. He demands that we pursue holiness so that we can get closer to Him. And for that, we can praise Him. Because the pursuit of holiness is what brings genuine joy and fulfillment to our lives. When we lose sight of that pursuit, things tend to go awry... Continue today's devotion at hubs.la/Q03TR1_00

Pray with me November 20, 2025 Father, I ask You to place Your hand of blessing over my life in a way that is unmistakably Yours. Let Your peace settle in the rooms of my mind where worry tries to live. Let Your strength rise in the places where I feel stretched thin. Shape my steps so I walk with clarity, courage, and a sense of Your presence that does not drift. Bless my home with laughter, my work with purpose, and my relationships with patience and truth. Where there is strain, breathe healing. Where there is emptiness, fill it with Your nearness. Where there are decisions ahead, light the path so I do not wander. Open the right doors and close the wrong ones. Let Your favor surround me like quiet armor. Let Your voice be the loudest one I hear. Father, lift Your face toward me. Let Your goodness follow me. Let my life carry the fingerprints of Your grace. In Jesus name, amen.

LIFT Daily Prayer: From Runaway to Brother | November 20, 2025 Today’s Verse: Philemon 1:15–16 (NKJV) “For perhaps he departed for a while for this purpose, that you might receive him forever, no longer as a slave but more than a slave; a beloved brother, especially to me but how much more to you, both in the flesh and in the Lord.” Onesimus thought he was running toward freedom when he fled Philemon; instead, he ran straight into the grace of God. Through Paul’s ministry, he became a new man in Christ, and the relationship that had been broken by fear and failure was now the very place God wanted to showcase redemption. Paul stands in the middle, interceding for reconciliation, asking Philemon to receive this former slave not as property but as family. What began as rebellion became an opportunity for God to write a better story than anyone expected. So today, ask the Lord where He is inviting you into that same kind of reconciliation. It may be a wounded marriage, a prodigal child, a wayward parent, a fractured friendship, or your own heart that has grown cold, critical, or distant from Jesus. Before you walk away or give up, pray for the courage to humble yourself, to repent where needed, and to exhaust every effort toward peace and restoration.
