Our mortgage is paid off but we live on the water and for some reason, even though we haven't added anything, enlarged anything, every time we get a property assessment, my property taxes have gone up, why? we have a private garbage pickup because the County doesn't offer it so why am I paying property tax? we have zero grandchildren so why are we paying school tax, hell, even when our son was in school, he went to a private school and we still paid school taxes, We've paid our dues, it's time to let us enjoy our golden years.

@LionelMedia I didn't watch the first couple of seasons, but we fell in love with the characters and were really disappointed in the finale. I think I know at least one person who reminds me of these characters.

The merger wasn’t blocked by Warren. It was blocked by Judge William Young, a Reagan appointee, who ruled it violated antitrust law because eliminating Spirit would raise fares for budget travelers. Spirit also didn’t fail because of the merger block. Industry analysts agree it failed because costs rose and larger airlines learned to compete with its model. Bessent is blaming Democrats for an antitrust ruling made by a Reagan judge applying laws Republicans wrote.

Had Spirit Airlines been allowed to merge with Jet Blue, it would have given them much more resiliency.   Thanks to @SenWarren, @PeteButtigieg, and all of their friends in the Biden Administration who backed their enthusiastic opposition to the Spirit-Jet Blue merger, dozens of regional airports will now lose service and thousands of jobs will now be lost.

Trump ran for office promising to end forever wars, lower costs, and release the Epstein files. Instead, our cost of living is at an all time high, gas prices are skyrocketing, he’s dragged us into an unnecessary and illegal war with Iran, and he continues to impede the release of the unredacted Epstein files. It's plain as day that Trump has failed to live up to his promises, and has measurably made life worse for millions of Americans.
