@PrimalRathalos I suppose my complaint about the game or talking point is that if you go from 1&2, 3 feels excessively unbalanced no matter how you play it, and while the invasive or ferals are interesting, they can feel extremely cheap to fight and not all that fun.

The sad part about this too is that I seen a majority of players not even interact or engage with the Habitat Restoration mechanic, Calamitous Elder Dragons, or even fight other Feral Monsters at all.
And then proceed to say that there's nothing to do.

I feel "it's for kids" statement is a bit of a cop-out for bad writing in a movie. There are plenty of good kid-centric movies with great plots that resonate with adults, many of the Pixar movies and even the Sonic movies. The first Mario movie had basically no plot, and I expect the same from this. We should demand better than just having our characters do the thing without any real story developments or character growth.

@TheDazeel No, if I can properly see and feel the care and passion in the game with it working well, not sold to me unfinished, and has great ability to bring me back on a constant to replay, that’s all that’s necessary. Though I do like me a Legacy of Kain style story and writing.

@Torpedopickle @SafsLeKirb OP? Flight? When running on a Velocidrome was faster in 1&2? It controlled better, you had full movement control, and you didn’t sink like a boulder drop in water. Just cause you “fix” something that isn’t broken doesn’t make it better.

@SafsLeKirb i get why people miss free flight, but it kinda just lets you skip all the level design they carefully crafted so i'm kinda happy that we dont have it. it's a better game for its exclusion
