@grahamruthven It’s damned if you do and damned if you don’t. If VAR is removed there are going to be clear and obvious infractions that the refs miss and people will be calling for VAR to comeback.

This has been a terrible week for VAR. The events at West Ham, Tottenham Hotspur and Motherwell proved as much. And to think its introduction was designed to “get rid of headline mistakes and scandals”. Instead, they have not been removed from the game but have in fact been piling up like never before. Mistakes and scandals that are not just one-off errors, misses, lapses of judgment, but rather an inevitable part of the VAR system. Can’t be overstated how important it was to get Ford or the new coach in FAST.
Talked to a lot of people over the last few days and every single one mentioned how if you’re a week behind in the portal you’re as good as dead.

Mixed reviews on the next coach
Some think Ford, other think an outside candidate that also would rock.
I would obviously love if Ford stayed! However, part of me expects him to follow.
