I know some TVs wonder why Ugandans love NTV so much. Well the answer is very simple. You give us headlines. NTV digs. NTV narrates. NTV make us feel the news. If the story is touching, NTV makes us cry. NTV isn't about breaking the story first. NTV is about how we will perceive the story. NTV doesn't fight for viewers, viewers fight for NTV. NTV doesn't bow to anyone, it respects and follow the guidelines of journalism by UCC. NTV doesn't advertise itself, people advertise NTV. NTV doesn't proclaim to be the best, people say it's the best That's why Ugandans love NTV.

I have just held discussions with Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba @mkainerugaba and we, as leaders of PLU, have agreed that we shall reopen both Daily Monitor and NTV soon. However, we shall first have discussions with the management of both sister companies. I will inform them when we can have this meeting.

I was privileged to be among the few worshippers who attended the Uganda Martyrs Day service at the Uganda Martyrs Anglican Shrine in Namugongo.

We have successfully concluded the #CEHURDMediaFellowship2026. The final session focused on equipping journalists with practical skills for pitching compelling stories on Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR). Participants actively developed and pitched story ideas, from which the top six will be selected to receive financial support to further develop and publish their work. We are confident that this fellowship has created fertile ground for story pitching, issue identification, collaboration, and practical learning, all aimed at strengthening a movement of journalists using media as a tool for accountability, social transformation, and equitable access to health and human rights for all. We now look forward to impactful, issue-based SRHR stories that advance social justice in health and amplify the voices and realities of communities across Uganda. #CEHURDMediaFellowship2026
