@Heavy_Bob Well in CIG’s mind, fixing it so you don’t lose randomly shit you actuallly played the game to earn would remove one of the incentives to go to the pledge store.

There is no point to mine and harvest materials if you are only going to have your effort wiped out by CIG in a patch. Lost all my ores, had my gems re-roll'd. Starcitizen is trash. I'm gonna go play Chromehounds.

Seit dem letzten Stream gab es sehr viele offene Fragen, viele Reaktionen und viele Momente, die aufgearbeitet werden müssen. Auch Trymacs hat mittlerweile auf einige Aussagen reagiert. Wir werden später einen weiteren Stream dazu machen. Und weil man die Dynamik und Dramatik dahinter kennt, wird auch dieser Stream wahrscheinlich wieder sehr viele Menschen anziehen. Aber genau deshalb ist mir eines wichtig: Wie bei vielen Themen im Internet wird auch dieses Thema gerade viel Aufmerksamkeit bekommen. Und wenn ich mit meinem Channel derjenige bin, der durch Reichweite und auch finanziell davon profitiert, dann möchte ich daraus auch echten Mehrwert schaffen. Deswegen werden wir auf meinem Discord einen eigenen Bereich zum Thema Spielsucht erstellen. Dort möchte ich mit Menschen sprechen, die spielsüchtig sind oder waren. Es sollen auch Menschen zu Wort kommen, die ihre Spielsucht besiegt haben und anderen helfen können. Und auch Leute, die vielleicht gerade mit dem Gedanken spielen, ins Casino einzusteigen, sollen dort die Möglichkeit haben, ehrlich darüber zu reden. Ich mache das, weil ich aus eigener Erfahrung weiß, wie wichtig Gespräche sind. Reden kann helfen. Austausch kann helfen. Ehrliche Geschichten können helfen, bevor man falsche Entscheidungen trifft. Ich habe diesen Teufel Spielsucht selbst besiegt. Ich spiele seit Jahren nicht mehr, weder öffentlich noch privat. Und wenn ich meine Reichweite nutzen kann, um anderen dabei zu helfen, diesen Weg ebenfalls zu gehen oder gar nicht erst in diese Falle zu geraten, dann möchte ich genau das tun. Schaltet später gerne in den Stream ein. Ich freue mich auf euch. Und ich hoffe, dass wir aus diesem ganzen Thema nicht nur Drama machen, sondern auch etwas, aus dem Menschen wirklich etwas mitnehmen können.

Big org tool progress in Star Citizen 4.8 ship sharing. You can now lend your ships to friends/org mates so they can store, repair, refuel, and fly them from their own hangar for days, even while you're offline. The owner just needs to avoid claiming it to keep it "unbricked." This is a huge step toward proper org tools and group gameplay! The old ship bricks only when the owner claims a new one. Ties into the long-term vision of ownership, theft prevention, salvage, and dead man's switches from CitizenCon. Perfect for group mining (e.g. lending out your mole Mole), org capital ops (Idris/Perseus stays accessible), or just helping new players. It's not fully polished org sharing yet, but it's a massive bone thrown to fleets. #StarCitizen

Good morning citizens, I wouldn't shed a single tear if the command module got scraped from the game entirely. It breaks more than it adds to the game, I have no good use for it and honestly think that the Ironclads look better without it. When you want to apply a paint to the Ironclads it shows two slots, one for the Ironclads themselves and one for the command module. Does this mean you need to have two of the same paints for it to match the colors of the CM with the ship? I think it is a waste of time and resources. How many people are actually going to use it for the way it was intended? First there was an issue with the SCM modes, now people are suddenly disconnected from the ship during travel 🤣 There is still a long way to go before the CM is properly implemented. (And I'm not even starting on all the Ironclad bugs) Let's hope we get some fixes in soon. I appreciate the devs who are working on 4.8.1 and can't wait to see improvements across the board. #StarCitizen

Dont get me wrong I love the game and I am pretty much behnid the wipe but ... Ironclad still a bit buggy, Missions broken, Missions not showing, no new paints showing in the Hangar, twitch drop suit not showing in the hangar, canceling of free flight ... I mean, come on

Just had my final R-CHOEP treatment, number 6 out of 6. I'm also 2/2 on R-HD-MTX. Only got one big chemo session left at the hospital, R-HD-Cytarabine, which will hopefully be my ending consolidation therapy. If all goes to plan that final treatment is end of this month.

@Draco_o7 Because they wiped the Idris my friends and i grinded the Last weeks WE will use my assault for the new Mission in NYX to rearm and repair the fighters.

For those who’ve had a chance to fly the Ironclad and Ironclad Assault in the PTU so far, is it worth keeping both, or would you melt one? If you could only keep one in your hangar, which would you choose and why?

@HeyItsBWags Me and 5 Friends farmed wiekelo Idris over the Last weeks. For the new big Mission in 4.8 i never ever will grind again for a wiekelo ship. And neither my Friends. No valakar for us. Cause WHO knows WE grind again for 2 months and 5 hours before Patch they say oh we will wipe

All the metrics they've touted over the past year about increased session time, better engagement metrics....all of that is going to take a dive for 4.8. Your average player is going to reconsider playing again because of this. 100%.

S0 S1 and S2 ship components should require only gems. If it needs ore it needs to be ore not used in any other crafting. Otherwise duping will mess shit up 100% #starcitizen

@SundogD When u cant jump to a Mission Marker Just discard that Quest. It is bricked anyways and wont Work even If U get there

I tried the missing person mission in Nyx. The Navmap didn't work, I had to triangulate jumps to get close to the wreck & after 1.5 hours, I couldn't find the body inside or outside the Starfarer. Haaarruummppff...#StarCitizen

@wearecyberpunks Ich hatte mich damals mega auf das Game gefreut. Als ich aber dann für jede fucking Tür einen Ladescreen hatte habe ich das Game direkt wieder gelöscht. Das ging mir so auf die Nerven. Gehst in ein Haus, Ladescreen, gehst raus, ladescren. Ist das immernoch so ?

Meine Gedanken zum #Starfield-Update: Zuallererst, ich freue mich drauf, das man nun endlich von Planet zu Planet nahtlos reisen kann. Das eigentliche Problem mit den Ladebildschirmen auf Planeten, und im Landeanflug zu Planeten wurde damit aber nicht gelöst. Leider. Es gibt massig neuen Content und es ist ENDLICH für die #PS5 verfügbar. Ich hoffe die Version läuft in 60fps und muss nicht allzu viele optische Federn lassen, wie die der #XboxSeriesX. Den ich finde, am PC sieht #Starfield am besten aus. Vor allem in New Atlantis gehen bis heute die FPS gern in den Keller. Ich werde natürlich den neuen Story-DLC durchspielen und hoffe er ist immens besser als Shattered Space, der - sorry - leider unterirdisch war. Starfield an sich verbessert sich mit dem Update nicht grundlegend, aber in weiten Teilen. Ich denke, wer vorher Starfield nicht mochte, wird es auch jetzt nicht. Den am Writing der Story und am grundlegenden Gameplay hat sich nix geändert. Ich mag Starfield. Ist das SciFi-RPG wo ich über 300h bisher mit verbracht habe.

@AutismCapital I tried it a few times but I'm tired of the wipes and starting over again so now I'm just gonna wait the next 20 years until full release. There is definitely a progress visible in their updates but it is slow. They already downscaled their end goals and are still far away.

Does anyone actually play Star Citizen? Has it delivered anything or did it just eat up $950M of naive gamers money since 2012? Is it actually a game? Is it even in "beta" yet after 14 years of development?
