Perhaps small but proud milestone of wrapping up my first breeding season being $derby neutral. Thank you to everyone who bred CMR studs this season. Our top contributors were Charlie Chaplin (28 breeds at 6k), Podium Snatcher (22 breeds at 10k), Chuleta Kan Kan (16 breeds at 6k), Monke Business (10 at 10k) and last but not least Liberation and Venetian for a combined 20 breeds at the 4k minimum. All of these fees went back into breeding 100 new horses, largely relying on external studs to continue building new bloodlines. .@photofinishgame

Every breeding season, Dinga and I put together a forecast for our studs to predict how well they will do so that we can understand the breeding market as best we can every single season. We have been super accurate for quite some time, but this is only the second time, we were completely wrong on a horse (first was Shockwave). Warm Reception (photofinish.live/horses/eb7b387…) was a horse that had one single race with low preferences so we retired him and forecasted ZERO breeds. Next thing we know he is sold out at 35 breeds on the first day! WTF! I will be honest it pisses me off that the community is still chasing grades on bum horses like this one. We’ve been preaching breed to winners, breed to winners, I wrote 20,000 words about breeding to winners and yet people are throwing away their hard earned $DERBY on shit colts like this. Stack stars! ⭐️ Stop burning them! Warm Reception is not the only one in the ecosystem stealing your money. There are a number of studs I’ve been tracking that have produced crap after crap after crap and the community still gives people their money for these shit colts! It boggles my mind! All you have to do is look at the success of the kids! It’s not rocket science. Stop giving me and others your money for shit colts.

Will I move onto the new game?  Unlikely to be honest.  Not that I do not like the new game, we actually do not know much about it; but over the past months there are many friends who have asked me to take on new games and I have decided that this is my last game for the time being, again I have other life projects that I am busy working on and I think I have moved on already.  I want to thank everyone who had bred or purchased foals with Southern Farm, I love you guys.  Til we meet again. 5/5

This may be my last post on the game, I do not post often anyway. Thank you for the friends who have send me kind words in the past day; I have not look at the announcement nor listen to the podcast actually, yesterday was a busy day for me.  I got my information from social media and messages from friends. Actually I do not feel upset at all; all games eventually will die.  For me, as I mentioned in the Arbitrage show chat, what attracted me to the game is long gone to be honest, I was still kind of playing the game in recent months but I was not doing much.  1/5

@RoaringHammy I guess I’m opposite of most replies but I bought my 11 year old daughter one. It’s an easy way to communicate with her when she’s at a friend’s or for emergencies. But I understand the hesitation to buy a $600 watch for an 11 year old. Not to mention monthly cellular fees.
