Alberta Independence 19/10/26

As a guy born and raised in Alberta, and one who have never lived anywhere else, I’m so proud to be Canadian. Is the country perfect? No. Is it one of the best countries in the world? Yes. It’s certainly my favourite. It’s full of amazing people, that offer so much kindness and generosity. I love the freedom granted to me everyday, the safety I feel being fortunate enough to have been born here, and there is no way I would ever vote to let that go. Don’t mistake high trust and well intentions for weakness. I’m country first and proud to be Canadian ♾️❤️🇨🇦❤️♾️

I know that many Albertans, being the high trust, well-intentioned people they they are, choose to believe that Canadians are just misguided, but that we can work things out with them, if we’re just nice enough to them. As a guy who was born and raised in Toronto, I am here to tell you that there is nothing we can to to bridge our divide - I came to realize that Alberta is different from the rest Canada. It’s why I moved to Alberta, and have become an ardent supporter of #AlbertaIndependence. Sure, there are some people like me, who remain peppered throughout the ruins of what once was the Canada that exists in your memory, but that Canada of the 1990s is gone, and it’s never coming back. You think you’re preserving the Canada that exists in your mind, by voting to remain, but the exact opposite is true! Alberta is the last holdout, the lone remaining bastion of western civilization in this once-great country. Instead of clinging to nostalgia as the ship sinks, it’s time to launch the lifeboat, to protect Alberta! The only way to ensure that your kids grow up in a place like the one you grew up in, is to vote for #AlbertaIndependence. By voting for independence, you’re not giving up your identity, you’re preserving it.

@Doug_YYC @FreeAlbertaRob For the 11th time, you need to understand the difference between a particular dr being forced to do something and overall forcing someone to do something to your body. It is not your right, it is not your freedom. If you'd like to do said things to yourself, that is.

Why are some (though not all) on the left so obsessed with allowing MAID for minors and those whose sole condition is that of mental illness. Seriously, help me understand because I just can’t.

So my vaccine comparison on rights infringement makes no sense, but you’re throwing up “doctors cutting off limbs”?!? Get a grip, Monica. This is a decision that is made between a patient and a doctor, that is up to them. Not YOU, not ME. THEM. I guess maybe you don’t believe in freedom? Or you only believe in freedom if it fits your Christian ideology? Can’t have it both ways 🤷‍♂️

@MonicaMarchand5 @FreeAlbertaRob And again…if they are comfortable with it, what’s it any of your business? If the doctor doesn’t agree, the patient finds one that does. You could then also say the same about open heart surgery.

No one should be able to tell someone what medical choices they make for their life/body. It’s really not hard to understand, Monica.

It’s peak delusion for people living in the dark blue area to think voting harder for the @CPC_HQ will save Canada. It won’t. That option no longer exists. The Canada you grew up in is dead, let alone the one of 10 years ago. The only option is to leave. #AlbertaIndependence
