Imagine if during the 2020 campaign, Mark Zuckerberg had come out & publicly endorsed Biden, used his social media platforms to push pro-Biden information and spread disinformation about Trump, then spent millions of his own money on pro-Biden PACS, and then campaigned his butt off for Biden. And then when Biden won, Zuckerberg became Biden’s closest advisor, basically setting up camp at the White House. Look, it’s a free country, but I’m just wondering…would Hannity and the rest of the right wing media world be upset? Would Trump’s supporters be upset?

Reminds me of listening to @bbc5live during the Brexit referendum. Anyone who listened to real people, instead of centrist dad podcasts, would not have been surprised by that outcome either.

Anyone who listened to our special 🇺🇸 programmes on @bbc5live speaking to voters in Georgia and North Carolina would not be surprised by the outcome. Regular people - not cranks - saying they were voting for Trump, because he spoke to their concerns. Harris didn’t.

@TheFrankBlaha But, like, motherfuckers lived through Caligula. And his gladiatoral games were pretty neat, if you weren’t a gladiator. A nation gets the country it deserves.

In 2020, Poland's President Duda faced criticism for refusing to directly congratulate Biden for his victory over Trump (a close ally of Duda). Today, Duda has congratulated Trump before the official results are even confirmed

Thank you, America. 229 years of democracy - wow, that was impressive. You were the leader and the inspiration for many of us. Thank you. Wish you full and speedy recovery. Take care.

On such days the immortal words in 2002 of former Whitehall permanent secretary Sir Richard Mottram re-echo down the ages: “We're all fucked. I'm fucked. You're fucked. We're all completely fucked.”

Now that Trump has been elected, US military aid for Ukraine will soon dry up. If we have any intention of not letting Putin win, the EU and UK must now seize the $300 billion of Russian central bank reserves and use that money to support Ukraine. cepa.org/article/seizur…

Yes she will. Kamala will accept the result, she’ll publicly concede, she’ll congratulate Trump, and she’ll even attend his inauguration. Because, except for that one presidential candidate who lost in 2020, that’s what all Presidential candidates who’ve lost have done.
Katie Pavlich@KatiePavlich

As vice president, will Kamala Harris certify Trump’s victory? Everyone should be asking, for democracy’s sake.
