Man, the MaplePress is ON ONE to start this match.
Liam Millar and Tani Oluwaseyi are standing out so far.
Richie Laryea is once again great.
These kits are stellar, too.

@JoeCallaghan84 Kone is a difference maker ( and hopefully his recent club form will allow him to be a lethal weapon for Canada this summer) but Canada can still do well without him.
English

@DrJCramer Yeah agree on Eustaquio for sure. He's absolutely vital. Koné too. Today a great reminder of that.
English

@JoeCallaghan84 The difference might be no Eustaquio today. In my opinion, he is the arguably the one guy that we cant have missing. Davis who I didnt even list before because he has missed so much is our top world class better but the team plays fine without him. Not so much Eustaquio.
English

@JoeCallaghan84 We didnt have to play Kamal Miller or Joel Waterman much and certainly not together. When we did well missing those guys, Luc DeFougerolles played with Cornelius.
English

@DrJCramer For sure. But almost all of those were absent during that great defensive run in 2025 too. Arguably just three guys out there are guaranteed WC starters (David, Tajon, Ali) but for others, you can play yourself out of contention on a day like today.
English

@CANMNT_Official Is the Kamal Miller experiment over yet? Put in Priso.
English

@tfiiiiine @YoniFreedhoff I am weird. I actually like it. Especially in soaked in egg and fried.
English

@YoniFreedhoff Why would most of us eat matzah when it’s not Passover?!
English

This might have something to do with the letter sent by the Education Minister @JBradshaw01
The Greasy Walrus of Monte Cristo@Beaf333
@realfinkledusty This is why they’re so sore.
English

@DrJCramer @Educhatter Was the activism that interrupted your ceremony organized by staff?
English

Graduation Ceremonies: Ontario announces new policy. Ceremonies will actually focus on the students, while upholding "apolitical, inclusive, and respectful" values. It's sad this needed to be articulated by the Minister. Common sense is making a comeback #ONTed #ONpoli
Melanie Bennet@MelanieBennet_
Ontario Education Minister @PaulCalandra has told school boards that graduation ceremonies must remain “student-centred, apolitical, inclusive, and respectful,” and not be used to “express political views” or “engage in divisive or contentious issues.” The letter also warns staff that social media posts promoting violence, racist commentary, stereotyping, or derogatory language are unacceptable.
English

@JBradshaw01 @Educhatter I don't know about last year, but the year before last- my school ceremony was interrupted by Pro-Palestinian activism and things are heating up around the world. Think about celebrations like the Oscars and what happens there- kids like to mimic celebrities.
English

@Educhatter Can you offer any insight as to what exactly has been inappropriate in past graduation ceremonies? Because so far every teacher I know who’s read this letter is utterly confused and doesn’t understand what brought it on.
English

@PappyCounts @SeeRacists Spitting on someone is an assault. If children don't learn to respect police then they learn that they can get away with worse than spitting and then the consequences for them can be far worse.
English

@SeeRacists Messy situation all around… kid was clearly out of line, no question. But an adult officer striking an 11-year-old while he’s restrained?
That doesn’t sit right at all. Two wrongs don’t balance out 🤷♂️
English

@OneNerdyOpinion Poor baby. Drink lots of warm water- put some lemon/honey or ginger and it will be gone soon and get lots of sleep.

@FairplayDesigns @RRohampton @MarketManiaCa There is also chicken breast, eggs, cheese, tangerines/oranges, and looks like egg white pasta in that picture
English

@RRohampton @MarketManiaCa Yup nothing really healthy in that pic. Even the ground beef, I prefer ground turkey as there is less fat

Canada’s Jewish community has contributed immeasurably to this country’s intellectual, cultural, and civic life, and a Canada that cannot protect one of its communities from targeted hatred and violence is a Canada that has failed its own foundational promise. If we are serious about building a nation worthy of leading in this century, we must be equally serious about defending every community that makes this country what it is. Allowing antisemitism to take root unchallenged does not only threaten Jewish Canadians, it corrodes the institutional trust, pluralism, and social cohesion that are Canada’s greatest long-term strengths.

@CameronCorduroy I had a $600,000 over 5 years NSF Physics grant terminated last year because our grant mentioned "polarization" which was included in the banned terms list. We were discussing the polarization of light. We never got the grant reinstated.

🚨To every Black person tempted by the antisemitic wave sweeping right now:🚨
Back when white mobs lynched us in the streets...
When we had no money, no power, and literally no movement...
Who stood with us? Who risked everything?
The Jews.
They weren't just allies—they were family in the fight.
- Jewish leaders co-founded the NAACP in 1909 and funded/led it for generations when no one else would.
- When Dr. King and our people were arrested, beaten, jailed—Jewish lawyers defended us for free, and Jewish money paid bail bonds and court fees while others turned away.
- In Freedom Summer '64, half the white volunteers risking death to register Black voters? Jewish.
- Rabbi Heschel marched arm-in-arm with MLK in Selma—our struggles linked forever.
Without their blood, treasure, solidarity, and courage—there is no Civil Rights Movement as we know it. No Voting Rights Act. No dream realized.
That's why I stand with the Jews.
They were our only true friends when this country hated us—when doors slammed shut and ropes hung high. They showed up, bled, and built with us.
So to my people joining this demonic, divisive hate today:
Pause. Remember. Honor the alliance that freed us.
Our histories are bound. Our freedoms were won together.
Betray that, and you betray the very martyrs who died for our rights.
Black-Jewish unity forged the dream. Don't let hate destroy it.
I stand with my Jewish brothers and sisters—always. ✊🏾🤝✡️🇮🇱
Repost if truth > trends. If gratitude > division. If history matters.
