Last night @DanielHewittITV broke the news that 55 children have died in temporary accommodation. Today we visited Downing Street to hand in our petition and urge the government to set up a Homeless Families Task Force to tackle the issue of child mortality head on.

The government has agreed to change the code of guidance to include cots in Temporary Accommodation.
