The student added that his white friend was told:
“You’ve had hundreds of years of white privilege above Black students and you do not qualify for this.”
This is happening across our institutions and is the opposite of meritocracy. Everyone should have the same opportunity to succeed, regardless of skin colour, yet schemes like this explicitly exclude some students based on race.
This also violates the basic principle that racial discrimination is fundamentally wrong, regardless of the direction in which it flows.

A new version of the GTA 6 mapping project has been released.
The most noticeable change is that the panhandle has (finally) been removed.
There has also been reworks to The Keys, Port Gellhorn and a plethora of other areas around the map.
Remember that a lot of this is still extremely speculative and it will continue to change up until launch. Rockstar has kept a lot of the map under wraps, especially towards the north, which makes outlining specific borders and stuff incredibly difficult. Also note that it’s only based on things that we’ve seen or have evidence of existing, so if it appears “empty” then that’s why.

No advertiser is willingly paying to put their ad on something people fall asleep to... this video hasn't even made the creator $10k let alone $1M. I know so.. I've made money off YT for over 10 years

@rootout @Jeremybtc You absolutely did need to get monetized. Where are you getting this info from? I had a channel that got approved for monetization in 2012 and I made my first thousand dollars in 2012 through it, advertisers do not want to pay a lot for sleep content

@DrModYT @Jeremybtc Youtube paid more in the early days of monetization. You were often paid on views on certain videos; you didn't need to have your channel monetized first back then.

This is entirely FALSE information. I made shorts for over a year and a large part of that audience was from India, I can confidently say 1M views would barely pay $30 (yes, seriously) so AT BEST this channel is making $90,000 a year even though they've had 2.5 billion views...

@Dexerto Fake news - YouTube shorts RPM is ₹0.50–₹3 per 1,000 views so about $0.006–$0.036 per 1,000 views - 2.5 BILLION views = 2,500,000 × 1,000 views... most the channel has made is $100k tops which is still very good but this information is FALSE. I have made shorts for years.
