The Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (Pakistan Medical and Dental Council) has declared clinical practice by pharmacists, psychologists, and dental technicians illegal, stating only doctors and dentists can diagnose and treat. Only those registered with the PMDC can perform allopathic treatment and surgery. Furthermore, the PMDC expressed grave fears regarding the increasing trend of addiction in Pakistan. The letter warns that this trend could spread HIV and hepatitis across the country. Officials specifically highlighted Islamabad and Mirpurkhas as areas at high risk. The Council stressed that unauthorized practice by allied health professionals poses a direct danger to human lives. To address this, the PMDC has directed the Allied Health Professionals Council (AHPC) to stop these practices immediately. The Council insists on the effective implementation of these rules to ensure patient safety. Consequently, the government has set a registration deadline of June 30, 2026, for all allied health workers. Director of the Public Authority of Civil Aviation Sheikh Humoud Mubarak Humoud Al-Jaber Al-Sabah announced Thursday the reopening of airspace at Kuwait International Airport starting Thursday evening. The decision was made in coordination with relevant international authorities to ensure the resumption of operations in accordance with the highest safety and security standards. Sheikh Humoud said the step is part of a well-considered, phased plan to gradually resume air traffic in preparation for the airport's full operation in the coming period. He added that Authority has completed its assessment of the damage inflicted on some airport facilities as a result of the Iranian attack and the actions of its proxies and affiliated armed groups. He explained that technical teams have begun maintenance and repair work on operational equipment and infrastructure to ensure full readiness. He clarified that the initial phase of operations will include specific stations, prioritized according to operational needs that guarantee the safety of operations. I asked him on camera — about the RSS’s record, and about his presence in the United States. The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh is a Hindu nationalist paramilitary founded in 1925. On March 4, 2026, the United States Commission on International Religious Freedom recommended the RSS be sanctioned by the US government. Fifty days later, Hudson Institute put the RSS’s General Secretary on a Washington stage. Ram Madhav was there as the co-panelist with a sitting US Deputy Assistant Secretary of State, Bethany Poulos Morrison. Hudson Institute is a US tax-exempt 501(c)(3), subsidized by the American public. Its Washington offices sit four blocks from the White House. It has been in a formal thirty-month partnership with the India Foundation — led by the son of India’s National Security Adviser, its board including sitting Indian government ministers, its president a member of the RSS National Executive. The Department of Justice, the Internal Revenue Service, and the congressional committees with jurisdiction over foreign influence and tax-exempt organizations have a responsibility to examine this partnership. USCIRF did its job on March 4. The question today is whether the rest of the American government will do theirs.
