1) A lot of facts wrong
2) The spirit of your post is right and intentions right too

who had declared the reason of death of both kids as drowning in the first post mortem - it was my father who literally “hid” the respected bodies in safe custody and refused the cremation till Rajiv Gandhi Institute of forensics was involved and a second post mortem conducted.
It was finally in the second post partem that “death by drowning was declared FALSE & death by asphyxiation declared!
All I will say is This is just one incident where my father not only remained true to his men his duty & Army there are many more !
The Then COAS Late Gen Joshi famously commented about my father -

My Father paid heavy price for this stance when he told the then Div Cmndr “ I did not bring these epaulettes from my home “ I will sacrifice them in an instant for my Subedar Major and other Jawans but not let any procedural harm come to them “
