@kumedan7 Peak summers are indeed hot. Providing ACs is possible, till we solve pollution. Also school timings can be creatively adjusted. Kids sitting at home due to bad air, also has a huge economic, pedagogical and social cost, apart from psychological cost to children.

@DrNimishRustagi The summers are intolerable in North India, including Delhi, and with rising urban heat, extreme weather events, heat waves, the summers are getting hotter and hotter. A majority of schools don’t have air conditioned classrooms and buses to ferry kids.

The delhi education dept should consider closing schools in pollution months Nov-Jan, and instead open schools in summers. No point of online classes. Kids exposed to more of screens, teachers struggle..its worse than missing school. @ashishsood_bjp @cbseindia29 @EduMinOfIndia

Only thing that has improved it seems, is the helpline of @DelhiPolice and @dtptraffic that atleast notes the complaint. Ofcourse police is not interested in solving the traffic mess. That is too much too ask

What's the fuss over samosa and jalebi? Google says that Jalebi's origin is traced back to the Middle East, specifically to Persian and Arabic sweet treats like "Zulbiya" or "Zalabiya."  The samosa, a popular savory pastry, originated in the Middle East and Central Asia. Traders and travelers introduced it to the Indian subcontinent between the 13th and 14th centuries.

The @FTIIOfficial Module for IIS Grp A OTs commenced today at Pune. Apart from OTs, Sh Dhiraj Singh, Dir FTII, Dr Rustagi, Registrar IIMC, Sh Prateek Jain, Registrar FTII & faculty attended the inaugural. Later, discussions were held on areas of collaboration between IIMC & FTII.

Happy to share that IIMC and the Film and Television Institute of India, Pune signed an MoU today. The signatories Shri Dhiraj Singh, Director FTII and @DrNimishRustagi, Registrar IIMC exchanged the MoU marking a new beginning of collaboration between the two institutions.
