@IndianTechGuide People should know these tiny air purifiers are just political stunts. Real air cleaning needs huge airflow, and HEPA filters are hard to maintain. Plant trees, especially moss or vertical gardens and mist them regularly for true air purification at traffic post. #AirPollution

@bisoyisujit87 This could be a good move if numbers of unreserved jobs will also be increased in Odisha. Otherwise we will generate more educated unemployed candidates; that will not good for a balanced society. @CMO_Odisha

@SabyasachiSam1 @pcsarangi Balasore & Rourkela are in Odisha but not under ECoR because railway zones follow historical traffic networks, not strict state boundaries. Both lines belonged to old Bengal–Nagpur Railway, now under South Eastern Railway, before East Coast Railway was formed in 2003.

@pcsarangi If palasa and Ichchapuram section not generating that much revenue then why Visakhapatnam division willing to take it. And what about the Balasore and rourkela why it not be the part of EcoR even if it is in odisha as you are making zone according to the statewise.

@iamvarunguru @i_amhardik A thermoelectric generator (TEG) itself does NOT directly produce carbon fiber from CO₂. But it can supply electricity from waste heat to help run the electrochemical process that convert CO2 to fiber.; but still could be try out by Hardik. Economics need to be checked.

Richa Singhal is crazy. She wants to take CO2 and turn it into carbon nanofibers - things that make our aircrafts stronger and lighter and our EV batteries more efficient. To be fair, scientists have already tried it in labs and it works. But no one has been able to do it efficiently at scale. And if she pulls it off - CO2 will no longer be a problem but will become solution. Honestly, I feel we need more people working on these crazy ideas and fund them.
BITS Pilani@bitspilaniindia

We are pleased to share that Prof. Richa Singhal (Department of Chemical Engineering), BITS Pilani, K K Birla Goa Campus, has been awarded an Advanced Research Grant by the Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF), Government of India. Sanctioned Amount: ₹74,04,480 Duration: 3 years Scheme: Advanced Research Grant (ARG) The project focuses on converting carbon dioxide into high-value carbon nanofibers using electrochemical processes paving the way for breakthroughs in energy storage (supercapacitors, Li-ion batteries), sustainable manufacturing, and carbon-negative technologies. Congratulations, Prof. Singhal! #BITSPilani #BITSGoa #ResearchExcellence #ANRF #Innovation #Sustainability #CleanEnergy #CarbonCapture

@iamvarunguru Good initiative by Prof Singhal. CO₂ to carbon fiber is technically feasible via electrochemical conversion. Promising for high-value CNT materials, but not yet fully economical at large scale due to energy cost. Future viability depends on cheap green power & Carbon Credit.👏

@ANI Odisha should learn from Iran & create a condition like a “straight of Hormuz” for its minerals. Without proper royalties or local plant development, Odisha’s mineral resources should not be supplied outside the state. Value addition within Odisha can boost jobs, revenue.

#WATCH | Delhi: BJD MP Sasmit Patra says, "It is a very sad and shameful development that the ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel plants, which were originally planned for Odisha, are now being shifted to Andhra Pradesh. When Naveen Patnaik was the Chief Minister of Odisha, he travelled to Japan and signed an MoU with Nippon Steel. Consequently, Nippon Steel was set to build its own steel plant in Odisha... The second most critical issue is that Odisha’s minerals will be transported to Andhra Pradesh via a slurry pipeline. If every steel plant and industry moves out of Odisha, and our minerals and coal are exported through such pipelines, nothing will be left for the state. It is wrong for steel plants to be established in other states while using Odisha’s resources instead of developing them here. I believe if Lakshmi Mittal wants to produce steel, he should do so in Odisha rather than taking our minerals to Andhra Pradesh."
