@AboutTheHouse @AliciaPayneMP And the crowd went wild! What an example for those parents who don’t have this level of entitlement and can’t take their children to work.

Did you know that, under standing order 257, an infant being cared for by a member is allowed on the Chamber floor? Yesterday, the Member for Canberra @AliciaPayneMP became the first member to ask a question during #QT while holding her infant son.

@Ryandally08 I think what he really means is that people who don't support his bullshit are the biggest threat to his hold on power.

#BREAKING Anthony Albanese says that “white supremacist ideology” and their radicalisation remains the biggest threat facing Australians.
He does not once mention Radical Islamic Terror.

Parliament just got a whole lot cuter.
Thanks for bringing baby Joseph in for a quick cuddle before question time, @AliciaPayneMP.

@JacintaAllanMP Night time would make more sense given so may people have solar.

@ChrisMartin1961 Simply put, they want to shortcut the steps you took and have what you have now.

@andrewjgiles “If I say the words often enough people will believe me.”

@MurrayWatt Which is a stupid idea if we want to bring inflation down because people will spend it, sending more in taxes to the government and not ease inflation.

We’ve just introduced new legislation into Parliament to help consumers get a fair go at the petrol pump with bigger penalties for false and misleading conduct and cartel behaviour.
We’re putting petrol companies on notice. We won’t cop big corporates treating Australian motorists like mugs.

@OZzSue5 @PaulineHansonOz @AustralianLabor @Greens It's all just opposition for the sake of opposition. It doesn't matter how good an idea might be they can't be seen to be in alignment with the other team. The supporters on both sides of the aisle don't help either.
English

Because @PaulineHansonOz called for an inquiry into the massive fraud that is being
committed against the disability system, the bastard @AustralianLabor & @Greens party's refused to support it. They'd rather scumbags keep ripping off the Australian people and the disabled who are missing out.

@GadSaad @JohnCleese how does a former Python not recognise sarcasm? You basically did the NORM Meme Dr. Saad!

Tobacco excise was never about making money - it is about savings lives and freeing up billions in the health system. Nearly 70 Australians die every day from a tobacco related illness. #auspol

@MarkoMatvikov Yep this is well said. When I first saw this ad I was pretty pissed off. It argues the old “it’s not your fault, you’re just stupid” line.

Labor just released this highly manipulative ad targeting One Nation voters following its strong South Australian election result.
It targets young men as if One Nation only appeals to them – dismissing the many women, multi-ethnic and older Australians who support them.
It tries to tie the ‘Adolescence’ movie and ‘Inside the Manosphere’ documentary to One Nation – a cheap attempt at guilt by association to paint their policies as toxic extremism.
It claims that One Nation’s policies aren’t in their best interests – whilst failing to acknowledge that it’s Labor policies delivering record housing unaffordability, youth homelessness and poverty.
And it’s an emotionally charged, AI-generated video from a Labor MP whose party repeatedly warns about the risks of AI manipulation.
It represents everything Labor does well – gaslighting, deception, deflection and hypocrisy.

Noticing more One Nation content in your feed? Before you decide to hit play, it’s worth taking a closer look at what they’re actually proposing.
