Just finished the whole episode. Now I see why his parish is overflowing with converts, he knows how to guide Protestants to the true faith. He gives the arguments subtlety and it's received well because of his good nature and spirit.

I see a lot of people criticizing Fr Josiah for going on this podcast, but I am asking you to first watch the episode before doing that. Fr Josiah gave important correction in a way that protestants can actually receive. This is not ecumenism. He’s teaching.

I’m late to this but one factor no one mentions is that so many of the people coming are autistic or “autistic-presenting” terminally online types.
The young guys need older guys to model how to have a conversation. They need their morale boosted.
They need community tbh.
