@lukeman3000 I thought both were brilliant. The pilot manages to give you solid exposition for the series, raise complicated issues, AND do an amazing job of addressing the subject of grief. My only gripe with the finale is the reused space battle scenes. It's easily the best Trek finale.

@Ds9Redefined I enjoyed most of DS9 except for the very beginning and the very end. The beginning felt awkward and somewhat contrived, while the ending seemed rather nonsensical. I can’t remember the specifics but I just remember it not making much sense, but maybe I missed something.
