@JamesMaleedy @TalkativeTri I mean, you're making the assumption that the best runes only drop at the pinnacle of end game, which depends on droprate, plus with divines being slightly more common, you can always buy them from Ange if you need them specifically. It all comes do drop rates/crafting viability

@TalkativeTri With the limit on guaranteed modifiers making martial weapons (and boots) in this mid game is now extremely RNG. And zero of the runes address this HOWEVER they do add an extreme amount of power in the very very endgame.

Some of these are outright CRACKED.
This will be controvertial, but PoE was always a game that you could get lost in. Many of the options shown seem to expand exactly on that. Extreme depth.
Personally I'm excited for Path of Runes: Legacy of Runes.

@DanteLokesten @Fubgun I would think you'd be going spear or even giants blood with mace to get the most out of that last node - 60% damage from your main weapon goes to your companion or something I believe it was.

Twisters look really insane, but I wasn't very convinced of the monkey showcase only doing a 250k slam on an endgame character.

@empyriangaming I think "1-3 charm constant up time" is kinda bleh to be honest, and isn't much of a divine sink really like Mark eluded to. Maybe you can roll similar mods to poe 1 flasks - mov speed/% resist/armour/crit chance/effectiveness - duration/charge use etc.

@NeverSinkDev Was actually pretty stoked. Sure there's some "nice" things that would of been cool, class, weapon base type. But I feel like this patch was definitely a "difference between what is needed and what is wanted".

This didn't age well.
There's enough endgame content and new runic gems to keep me entertained, but I can see how people who hoped for swords/axes are upset.

@NeverSinkDev I mean, there's that kind of teaser of the viridian wildwood in interlude 1. Wildwood delve could be pretty crazy. If they replace azurite with the wisps? Or whatever it is you gather in POE 1 and that gives you the darkness resistance

@ELewisELC @pathofexile To be fair there hasn't been like a "league" title given I don't think. Like last season was rise of the druids, but vaal temple was the league. So could still be something new coming. Plus reworks will probably incorporate new mechanics
