These guys on here try to convince everybody how smart they are w/ their analytical profiles of players (I love analytics) but I’m a big dummy bc I want a 27 yoa RHH OF who kills LHP and has 73 in 2 1/2 yrs for a team 3/4 of the guys can’t hit a ball out standing on 2nd base.

Yoho seems like a solid add to the bullpen maybe he can help the Guardians keep it at being down 3-1 or 2-0 in the 5/6. Until the offense has somebody that can produce runs instead of “profiles” of avg/below hitter defense versatile guys - nothing will change.

I’m done commenting on all the why would you want Jo Adell to Guardians posts, if you don’t see how he can help I’m not going to convince you. But I do enjoy them all hyping themselves into Blake Perkins .

@JL_Baseball I dont understand not wanting to take a shot on a former tooled up prospect who was disappointing but shown over last 3yrs tangable power, desperate need for the Guards, RH OF that hits lefties well, another need, and is still only 27. Not perfect but if was wouldnt be available.

The overhype on Jo Adell being traded for...whatever...is gonna be something. Former tooled up top prospect that has been a disappointment. Reality is he's a platoon bad with a poor approach and defensive metrics are awful.

@CChangeAudio @jeffMLBdraft Idk what their price is but Angels made a seemingly strange trade yesterday. Outside of a handful of prospects I wouldn't care all that much what Guards would give up for him- don’t think the internal improvements calvary will be showing up anytime soon.

@jeffMLBdraft Ok. Not Arias vs Adell convo but rather about adding a RH OF, w/ 57 HR over past 2 yrs 16 this yr so far to a LH heavy lineup that stuggles to score & needs 2-4 hits an IN to get a run could use somebody that do it with 1 swing. He's not perfect but I think that he could help.

@Post1_Baseball handled business-3rd straight WV state title (2oth). A grind in the end, but a lot of dudes on the team. Proud of how @ernest1_brady competed, had some ups and downs, but still went 5/12 4 RBI 1 R 5 BB , 6IP 1 Er and the W in the Champ game

Wheeling @Post1_Baseball is bringing home a 3rd consecutive, and 20th overall state title thanks to an 11-8 win over Area 1 foe Parkersburg Post 15! Chris Upton and Braxton Billick each drove in 3 runs. Andrew Murdock drove home 2 in a big six run 2nd when Post 1 trailed 4-0.

Wheeling boys started off the State Tourney by beating Potomac Valley Post 64 by a final score of 10-0 behind a good start on the bump from @JakeBrown_4, a solid 2-inning relief outing from @ernest1_brady, and a combined 12-hit day from the Post 1 offense… 1-0 when it matters!!
