Amick has turned himself from contact profile who whiffs into power profile who whiffs almost overnight. Untenable contact profile (39% whiff/70% z-con) regardless. Agbayani is the complete opposite. 99.4 EV90, 94% z-con, 5.9% K rate, family history with the org.

I'm trying to wrap my head around the fact that Travis Bazzana is the @CleGuardians cleanup hitter. How can that happen? It illustrates just how weak the Guardians hitting really is. No real cleanup hitter is a terrible indictment for a team that wants to win a division.

We just saw the Angels trade a good relief arm and a once great offensive catcher, both cheap and controlled (5 years for Silseth) to a division rival for a 40 grade A ball infielder

@jeffMLBdraft Ok. Not Arias vs Adell convo but rather about adding a RH OF, w/ 57 HR over past 2 yrs 16 this yr so far to a LH heavy lineup that stuggles to score & needs 2-4 hits an IN to get a run could use somebody that do it with 1 swing. He's not perfect but I think that he could help.

I'd actually be happy if the @CleGuardians could get Tyler O'Neill from Baltimore. He has some power. Doesn't always make contact, but he can be dangerous, and serve as a DH against LHP. And I don't think he'd cost much in terms of players in a trade. He makes some sense for me.

Petey Halpin has great speed running down fly balls, almost anywhere in the outfield. Find some hitters, and leave Halpin alone in CF. The man has solid defensive skill, with superb speed.

I've been intrigued by Silseth for a while. TX gets 2 needs addressed here. Curious on the return.

Most of the time when a trade happens it's easy to see the logic for both sides.
We are working on getting more reporting to fill this out, but I'll say for now, I very much see the logic of this trade for the Rangers. The Angels? As I said we're working on getting more info.

Silseth is a OK RP. He won't even be arb eligible next year and is making league minimum. So he's a useful cheap RP. O'Hoppe has bad this year. But this will save the Angels only around $1 million if they replace him with a MLB minimum salary.
