I have written about this at various times. 1. With dedicated corridors, especially centred around Tarapith, the scope for religious tourism is immense. Tarapith should be the hub given the presence of various Shaktipeeth around it. Nityanandapur is close. 2. WB has two Ramsar Sites , for nature lovers and especially birders. Wetlands near Farakka, eg Gabgachi-Bhatia Wetland Complex (GW), Nischindagram & Parmadangram, Chatra Beel, Nayabandh, Ahiran 3. 6 national parks, 16 Wildlife sanctuaries, 4. Ancient fairs ( mela) which are still thriving but have very localized popularity. Some of these melas date back 4-5 hundred years 5. Durga Puja of Kolkata deservedly occupies centre stage but there are other pujas which have older antiquity. Need to popularize them 6. Refer to @sanc_off and @BjornQuixote s proposal for the Heritage corridor envisaged centred around Uttarpara. Now expand that to include Triveni, Bansberia, Guptipara 7. Popularize the religious sites in North Bengal. Such as Trisrota Shaktipeeth. 8. Heritage corridor in Purulia including Pak Birra, Anara, Para. Telkupi etc . If anyone requires my help ( I am sure there are far better people than me) I am willing to work pro bono and offer my experience from my travels in Bengal.

The tree in the picture is a giant sequoia tree that was there before Jesus was born, it was older than the Roman Empire. After california gold rush the greedy logging companies started to cut down these trees. Each tree would cause a little earthquake when it fell. About 95% of these majestic trees were lost. The funny part? The sequoia tree wood was quite brittle and a huge portion of it was wasted by loggers. Most of it shattered on impact or were burned by loggers. The crimes of European settlers their destruction of nature is not talked about enough

@krishashok This is wrong. Rasogolla is made of chhanna. Chhanna is used in bengal at least from middle age, as mentioned is multiple literature. @BengalAntiquity might know more.
