Despite the fact they cheated vs Motherwell, O’Neill had a closed doors meeting with the refs, they abandoned the game yesterday, they invaded the pitch and assaulted the Hearts players, despite all that absolutely NOTHING will happen. But at least now the world sees it.

This does not answer my concerns so I am escalating it to my contact in FIFA who will deal with it when their office opens tomorrow

So, we have a new SPFL rule. I wonder what would have happened had Motherwell fans invaded the pitch at 2-2 on Wednesday night on 95 mins (5 mins injury time was declared). Would the ref have called it????? (Rhetorical question).

Ugly scenes at the end of Celtic v Hearts at Parkhead today. Several Hearts players were accosted by Celtic fans during an injury-time pitch invasion. We have been here before in Scottish football this season. Could this not have been prevented? Full updates in @heraldscotland

Hearts have obtained an emergency interdict at the High Court in Edinburgh this evening ensuring that the Scotch football authorities preserve and disclose the timestamped audio of events at the end of the game.
If no final whistle is heard then likely outcome will be a 3-0 win awarded to Hearts of Midlothian.

They will introduce sanctions next season and find and deduct points from Dundee and st Johnstone. They will then claim their sanctions are working. Celtic fans have spent more time on the pitch this season than shankland.

SFA needs to show a scintilla of responsibility and leadership and introduce proper sanctions for pitch invasions from next season - stand closure, closed doors games, points deduction, forfeiture of a game. This stuff has to stop. It’s getting worse
