@chris_sutton73 Still couldn't beat United, who cost a fraction on fees, and even less on wages, whose season has been shambolic. Get it up you.

It was coming. This Celtic team have been a shambles this season. The centre forward situation sums the club up. Everyone knows the root cause. Celtic reaping what they sowed. Complacent to the core and trying to rely on Martin to bail them out. I feel for Martin.

@higgyboson in the closing scenes of Trainspotting, Renton (walking from a hotel in Bayswater to presumably the Eurostar terminal) crosses Waterloo Bridge in the wrong direction. Film ruined

I'm watching a TV programme about Antique dealers in South Devon. Lots of lovely scenic vistas of coastlines and countryside etc. And lots of participants filmed driving their cars to various towns across the area. Most of them are actually driving in opposite direction to their claimed destination and others are driving on roads absolutely miles away from either their starting point or town they're travelling to. Many of them are filmed driving along a particular coastal road in Torquay for no apparent reason because they're later filmed walking around an entirely different town and wouldn't have gone anywhere near Torquay to get there. Sometimes having local knowledge absolutely spoils the enjoyment of what should be 30 minutes of relaxed viewing.

The exception to this rule is that it is socially acceptable to support who your dad supported irrespective of where you are actually from. A dad is entitled to hand that down like a family heirloom.

Dundee United inflicted a major blow on Celtic’s Scottish Premiership title defence with a 2-0 victory at Tannadice to keep their own top six ambitions alive! 💪

@DPBrereton93 @cfc_ar1905 Global game. Many support their local teams. Mandy don't. It's never ever bothered or worried me. If I see a Man City fan who's grown up I. London, I shrug my shoulders and go about my day.

@ashcollins234 @CDC2584 @LazyJam Nah. That’s nonsense. Football is everywhere. The overseas enthusiasts will never know what it’s like to be a supporter, living in the town or city of their club.

@CDC2584 @LazyJam because they haven’t been given a chance to go to many football games so will find it hard to form a connection with any club

@dharford79 The problem is the dashboard lights are on, so they don’t need to think about putting headlights on. Go back to dashboard lights connected to headlights and the problem is solved.

And the amount of people who cannot seem to work out how to use lights on a car properly during foggy mornings is shocking! Stop relying on DRL! #RoadSafety

This is a post-9/11 design. It’s actually very interesting. Congress mandated these rules governing new US embassies in terms of setbacks from the surrounding roads and so forth. In many parts of the world they’d just put a high wall in, and they didn’t want to do that in London The solution is what you see here: a moat or “pond”, bollards hidden within a hedge capable of stopping an 8 ton truck at 40mph, berms disguised as “meadows” or lawns, and so on
Jostein Hauge@haugejostein

I live right next to the US embassy in London. They built an actual moat around it. Who builds a moat around their embassy? Countries that do bad things and expect retaliation. Or countries who do diplomacy as if we’re in the Middle Ages.
