One of the best decisions that I've made from the previous bear market was selling a portion of my OMI and putting it into SR Miles Morales. If I were to sell the SR today, I would 30x the amount of OMI that I originally sold. The other good decision was buying historical/special mint numbers. These held value really well during bear markets because there is always a demand for them. Just gotta know what to look for when buying. Most Trading Cards don't hold value, and the same goes for comic books. Only a small percentage of them are highly sought after or are considered grails. According to ChatGPT, these are the percentages that go under retail after you buy them. VeVe is no different, in my opinion. Grails will always hold more value. PERCENTAGES THAT GO UNDER RETAIL Comic books ~95–99% Pokémon cards~90–95% Magic The Gathering cards~90–97% With that said, I think that now is a great time to position myself for the future. VeVe has the licensing game on lock. StackR is super easy to use & often has great deals. I am expecting great things from Collect Chain as well. Being a part of the VeVe community is one of the best things that has happened to me. VeVe re-ignited the passion that I had for collecting as a kid. Provided me a safe place to geek out about fandom. Connected me to amazing people that I would not otherwise have met. I also learned so much just by being a part of our community. I've learned how to edit pictures/videos. Expanded my knowledge about pop culture, art, & history. Through all of the ups and downs, we were there for one another.
