Work trips are for business, not sacrificing personal privacy. Sharing rooms with coworkers blurs professional lines and creates unnecessary discomfort, regardless of budget. You can say : "I'm happy to travel and deliver on the work, but I'll need a separate room for professional and personal boundaries. Let's find a workable solution."
