The iPhone must know I'm over 18 given a) it has my card details b) I've had one for fifteen years and wasn't two when I bought it.

@Pirat_Nation Great. I would hire the other one and train them up to be an expert in design using the pint of grey mush between their ears.

Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang stated that if he had a choice between two college graduates, "one that has no clue what AI is, and one that is expert in using AI, I would hire the one who's expert in using AI. Every single time." He added, "Every college student should graduate and be an expert in AI,"

@TheRugbyPaper Nope. There are few enough games in the season ticket offer as it is. Midweek games don’t suit many of those who travel significant distances to support their clubs.

🚨NEWS: UK iPhone users must now prove their age or lose full internet access "It is absolutely outrageous that, overnight, Apple has put a chokehold on Britons' freedom to search the internet, access information and use apps unless they provide sensitive ID documents. This means 35 million Brits who have paid hundreds or even thousands of pounds for Apple tech suddenly now have a child's device unless they comply with invasive demands for personal information that go far beyond what UK law requires. Apple has crossed the Rubicon with this software update which is more like ransomware, holding customers hostage to ID demands that are invasive, exclusionary and unnecessary. Children's online safety is vital but requires better parental controls and thoughtful tech responsibility - not sweeping, draconian, shock demands by foreign companies for all of our IDs and credit cards." - Silkie Carlo [@silkiecarlo]

@sarah_go_green I have seen by querying the api that flux standing charges are going up but have had crickets about the unit rates. 5 days to go

It looks as though the new variable rates are coming out so standby. From 7p on 1st April on IOG to 5.2p per kWh. If the government hadn't removed some of the costs off energy bills from my understanding the price cap would have gone up slightly. That's why i'd assume there's a difference between the fixed v variable. The fixed was a no quibble 7p rate for 12 months. The issue is the variable will change again on 1st July based on rates we are seeing now in wholesale market. Hopefully Trump isn't bluffing and we will have peace. @OctopusEnergy

Hey @OctopusEnergy. Why are some customers getting 3.49p night rate and some are getting 5.2p? Great to see rates coming down across the board, but lots of confusion.

@KEEPCALMANDBOX1 Sarries and quins supporters do a great job booking blocks for away games, this makes it easier for those who want to be with their fellow supporters but dont have the supporters groups as organised as those, It doesn't stop people sitting with other fans if they want

Looks like it only warns you once. I tried multiple copy and pastes from different sites after the initial alert and never saw it again. *Do not run the command below. 😅 I filed feedback on this specific command to ask Apple for an additional warning for users.

New warning in macOS Tahoe 26.4 You will now be warned when you paste terminal commands from Safari or other apps, flagging anything that could harm your Mac. I'm really glad Apple added this. It’s a small but helpful change that protects users.

Also correct me for this but when Life of Brian came out Christians didn't go off their rockers and call John Cleese a "Christophobe" Muslims need to learn that mockery, criticism and questions or comments they don't like are part of living in the West. They're not special. They're just one group with one ideology that is as open to scrutiny, mockery and scrutiny as any other.

Linux has a literal black hole hardcoded into the operating system. It's called /dev/null. It is a pseudo-device file that instantly discards whatever data you write to it, reporting that the write was successful. You can pipe gigabytes of raw errors directly into it and watch them vanish from existence.

@MartinSLewis Don’t subsidise bills. Lower the tax rates and change the way the prices are calculated to disconnect from gas.

ARM chips on laptops, why aren't there more of them and does Linux even support them? Does anyone actually run Linux on an ARM based laptop? I know that the Pi has an ARM processor in it, also do applications work?

@OctopusEnergy it would be nice to have more notice before saving sessions. I can’t use my phone at work so I only saw the one for today at 17:45. Far too late for me to change my battery usage round.

In Saracens last 2 visits to the Rec, bath have been 100 points better than us. In 2 games. Let that sink in. Ironically that's also the price of a ticket.
